Elite Uninterruptible Power Systems

The WTC range of Elite Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) offers reliabile, flexible and upgradeable power
protection for retail Point of Sale terminals, keyphone systems, small PBX switches and mobile applications. A

range of enhancements is available including battery packs, maintenance bypasses and monitoring software.
Spike and electrical noise
protection: built-in EMI
filters remove mains borne
spikes and electrical noise.
Power factor correction prevents
any generated interference from
polluting the mains supply.
Surge, sag and brownout
protection: a wide input
voltage range helps Elite to
smooth out sags and surges
without resorting to battery power.
This remains maximised for real
emergencies.

u PowerShield software: Elite can
be remotely managed using the
software package bundled with each
UPS. The software provides realtime
operating and historical data, access
to internal UPS logs, and can
perform an orderly system
shutdown. A general Windows
version of the software is supplied
with each UPS on a 3.5" disk. Other
versions of the software can be
downloaded from the AEL Group
website including versions for
Windows NT, Unix, Novell and other
popular operating platforms.

Mains power failures: u Remote monitoring: Elite

Elite generates a 'break-free'
sine-wave supply at all times
from either its battery or the
mains. A built-in automatic bypass
provides further protection from
system overload and failure.
u Battery extension packs: allow
the WTC1KVA007 UPS to provide
up to 7 hours runtime at various
loads. The battery packs can be
either floor standing or 19"
rackmount format, depending upon
the capabilities of the 19" cabinet.

u PowerSwitch maintenance
bypass: an optional external bypass
allows the UPS to be powered down
without disruption to the load for
maintenance or upgrade. The
bypass is designed to be mounted

connects to the mains supply through a BS style plug. Load

UPS input and output supplies connect to the bypass using
IEC320 cables. The FBS007/03 is an alternative bypass
providing only a single IEC plug to connect into the load on a 178mm
2m cable. The cable is hardwired into the bypass itself.

BEPs are floor standing. They have a 2.5m lead to connect to our web site:
