PGM SYSTEM
PGM-FI or Scheduled Fuel Injection is Honda's name for its
electronic-digital fuel injection system for internal combustion engines
that injects the correct amount of fuel into the cylinders on the basis
of available motor data since the late 1980s. This system has been
implemented in motorcycles and automobiles.

EFI SYSTEM
Fuel injection is an internal combustion engine feed system, which replaces the
carburetor in the explosion engines, which has been used by virtually
all European cars since 1990, due to the obligation to reduce pollutant
emissions and to it is possible and durable to use the catalyst through
an optimum adjustment of the lambda factor.
SISTEMA EFI
ADVANTAGE
1) In the EFI system there is a better use of gasoline, because due to the atomizing
action of the injector and the flow of electricity, gasoline droplets are divided into tiny
particles forming a very fine mist, practically gas.
2) In the EFI system there is a better distribution of the gasoline and the mixture
comes more evenly to each cylinder.
3) There are lower emissions of unburned hydrocarbon so it helps a lot to improve the
maintenance of the environment.

• Los óxidos nítricos que se producen con motivo de la combustión no pueden ser
transformados suficientemente en nitrógeno por medio de un catalizador convencional
de tres vías.
• problemas que plantea el azufre en la gasolina. Debido a la similitud química que tiene
con respecto a los óxidos nítricos, el azufre también se almacena en el catalizador-
acumulador de NOx y ocupa los sitios destinados a los óxidos nítricos.
• Nitric oxides produced by combustion can not be sufficiently transformed into nitrogen
by means of a conventional three-way catalyst.
• problems with sulfur in gasoline. Because of its chemical similarity to nitric oxides, sulfur
is also stored in the NOx accumulator catalyst and occupies the sites for nitric oxides.
The term IAC comes from the English: Idle Air Control Valve, in other
words it is a Valve for the Control of Air in Idle.
The IAC sensor or IAC valve is a stepper motor that controls the
movement of a cone on the air intake to the combustion chambers giving
more or less air according to the ECM, the IAC valve / IAC sensor is on
the body acceleration.
