Held on 7-­‐8 August 2017 at JW Marriott Jakarta, the
16th edition of Asia IoT Business Platform in Jakarta,
Indonesia revolved around the focus to challenges and
issues faced by Indonesian enterprises and organizations
in deploying IoT, and in their digital transformation
journey.
462 industry stakeholders from 213 companies gathered
over the two days of activities, engaging with one
another to better understand the IoT landscape in
Indonesia and to forge valuable business relationships.
The conference proceeding featured 48 esteemed
speakers who presented and discussed on IoT across
different vertical industries including:

• Smart City
• Manufacturing & Industrial
• Transport & Logistics
• Banking & Finance
The exhibition floor featu red 28 companies, including 2
country pavilions: Singapore and Taiwan, showcasing
innovative next-­‐generation technologies.
Indonesia is clearly a massive market for IoT solution
providers, with great interest from enterprises and
organisations in emerging next-­‐generation
technologies.
Local Indonesian companies are now more cognizant
of the importance of advancing technologically to
maintain their own competitive advantage within their
own industries. This sentimen t is echoed by companies
such as Garuda Indonesia and Blue Bird Group.
In the age of disruptions and the rise of nimble start-­‐
ups, local companies need to continue transforming
digitally to remain competitive. This spells great
opportunities for IoT solution providers targeting the
Indonesian IoT market.

monitor  t he  u se  o f  vouchers  within  t he  company.     eVoucher has  b een  
made  available  as  well.  

Customers  can  n ow  choose  cashless  payment  methods  including  

eVoucher and  C redit  C ard. The  latest  Easy  Ride  feature  lets  customers  
book  t axis  from  anywhere  and  p ay  via  t he  My  Blue   Bird  app.

Since  2015, Bank  Negara  Indonesia (BNI)  h as  started  t he  d igital
