Movie Night
Wednesday, March 21st at 7 p.m.
Kathy Timberlake will host a showing of the movie “War Room” in Scout Hall. It is an inspiring movie full of
faith, hope and love. Christian author and speaker Priscilla Shirer is the lead actress. If you missed this movie in
the theaters, you MUST come see it now! Bring snacks, drinks, and a friend.
There is no charge for the showing, but please RSVP to ktimberlake@saum.com to give us an idea of how many
chairs to set up.

Matthew 21:1-11
It is easy to give up popularity. Get yourself elected to the board of a homeowner’s association. These are positions that
require noting offenses, seeking correction, and enforcing with official government measures, all the while exacting a
monthly maintenance fee! Re-election is assured because no one else wants the job!
Seriously, positions such as this are important but yield few accolades.
Yet, a job that has some authority can be very rewarding. It is a daily challenge to greet and speak politely, to listen well,
to be lenient when circumstances warrant, and to set realistic goals. It is a challenge to show no favoritism and to apply
rules and regulations equally.
To carry authority well requires dependence upon God to grant wisdom, patience, strength and stamina. “Popularity” or
acceptance would come from Him Who says, “well done, my faithful servant.”

Adults, families, children, and friends invited. Brisket and chicken provided. Participants asked to bring
side dishes of salads, vegetables or desserts. Table hosts are needed to supply wine for their table.
