Dear F-1 Families,
Next week (Tuesday) students will be
taking the Topic 14 test on area. We are
excited for them to demonstrate
everything they have learned. Pearson
Realize and IXL are both excellent
resources for extra review at home. On
Topic 13 a lot of students made simple
addition and subtraction errors. Please
encourage them to go back
and check their work.

On April 12th we have our field trip to
the Exploratorium. In order for our field
trip to proceed we'll need parent
chaperones to assist us. Unfortunately,
due to the number of students we have
we're unable to have parents ride on the
bus with us.
However, if you're able to chaperone and
drive to the Exploratorium we would love
for you to join us. In the past we've had
parents carpool together to the
Exploratorium and meet us there to
assist us and or/drive their own child to
the field trip. If you decide to drive,
your parking will be reimbursed. If you
were previously cleared to drive please
send in an updated policy so we can place
it on file.
Biography Project:
Next month we will be starting
our final homework project for
the year! Students will
research a person and write a
biography. They will also
present to the class in May.
Each week students will be
responsible for completing
writing for their project as
homework. Please check their
blue folder
for due dates and other
important information.
Lastly, if you would prefer to drive your own
child to and from the field trip you're more
than welcome to. Please contact us ASAP to
let us know if you decide to go this route.
If you're available and would like to join us
please respond ASAP so that we can get an
accurate headcount.
