Industry overview
Originally used in ITALY, submersible wastewater pumps first
were seen in the United States in the mid-1950
Large and small units are used in a variety of ways in the home.
Farm motel, school, marine, commercial building, industrial plant and
municipal sewage and storm water systems. Submersible pumps have been
proven over the last half of a century, disproving those skeptics who
originally questioned how an electric motor-powered pump could run
under water. Originally developed in ITALY, millions now are used daily
throughout the world to pump clear, raw water and waste water.

We all know that “CUSTOMER IS THE KING OF THE MARKET”
But it will not wrong if I said “To serve your customers serve your
Employees”. And in any manufacturing unit every workers can be considered key
person of the organization.
Many experts believe that one of the best way to maintain employee
satisfaction is to make employee feel like part f family or team. Holding office

events, such as parties or group outings, can help build close bond among
employees. Many companies also participate in team building retreats that are
design to have found success.
38
Research Problem
At the very outset of the researcher must single out the problem he
wants to study, i.e. he must decided the general area of interest or aspect of a
subject matter that he would like to inquire into. A research problem, in general,
refers to some difficulty which a researcher experiences in the context of either a

Research Design
The formidable problem that follows the task of defining the research
problem is the preparation for the design of project, popularly known as the
“research design”. Decision regarding what, where, how much, by what mean
concerning an inquiry or a research study constitute the research design. “A
research design is the conceptual structure within which research is conducted; it
considers the blueprint for the collection, measurement & analysis of data”. As
such the design includes the outline of what the researcher will do from the
hypothesis & its operational implications the final analysis of data.

43
Data Collection
In dealing with any real life problem it is often found that data at
hand are inadequate, and hence, it becomes necessary to collect data that are
appropriate. There are several ways of collecting the appropriate data which differ
considerably in context of money costs, time & other resources at the disposal of
the researcher.
Primary data can be collected by surveys. In case of a survey, data
can be collected by any one or more of the following ways:
1) By observation.
2) Through personal interview.
3) Through telephone interview.
4) By questionnaire.
5) Through schedules.
44
Data Analysis &
Interpretation
45
Data Analysis
After the data have been collected, the researcher turns to the
task of analyzing them. The analysis requires a number of closely related
operations such as establishment of categories, the application of this categories to
raw data through coding, tabulation & then drawing statistical inferences.
Researcher has to classify the raw data into some purposeful end useful categories.
Researcher can analyze the collected data with the help of various statistical
