Frame, 10 x 20 = 200 kg
Cross brace, 2 x 3.0 x 20 = 120 kg
Joint pin, 2 x 0.5 x 19 = 19.0 kg
Jack Base, 2 x 4.9 = 9.8 kg
Tie back, 2.2 x 5 = 11.0 kg
Bracing tube, 1.5 x 1.8 x 2 x 5 = 27.0 kg
Environmental, Netting, etc, assume 20 x 1.8 x 1.7 x 1.0kg/m2
= 61.20 kg
448 kg /OK
= say 4.5kN/frame.
Using M12 Hilti HKD Push – in anchor or equivalent anchor on 25 MPA concrete, the
recommended holding strength against wind load tension is 8.5kN which is OK (˃4.1kN). Please
refer to manufacturer’s recommendation for installation details.
Strength of weld = 0.7 x 115N/mm2 x 4mm = 322N/mm allowable stress per mm, say 4mm
weld.
Therefore for 30 mm (on both sides), strength = 60mm x 322N/mm = 19.3kN /OK
˃4.1kN
Provide wall tie to every frame at alternate floor not exceeding 6.8 m to the RC beams or wall. -
