DAR-ES-SALAAM, March 22, 2018. Moët & Chandon Brand Ambassador, Mr Pierre-Louis
Araud, made his first official trip to Tanzania this week. Mr Araud is a connoisseur of luxury
and celebration. He comes to Tanzania in a bid to officially introduce Moët Nectar Imperial
as well as share Jean-Remy Moët’s lifelong goal, in his own words: “To share the magic of
champagne with the world.”

Together with Mr Alexandre Helaine, Moët Hennessy Eastern Africa Market Manager, Mr
Araud met with top media personalities at Park Hyatt to celebrate the official introduction of
Moët Nectar Imperial in Tanzania

Speaking at the event, Mr Araud noted that, “Friendship, sharing and generosity are part of
Moët’s values and spirit. Moët & Chandon is about connecting people around the world,
forging strong relationships. As we celebrate the introduction of Moët Nectar in Tanzania, we
wanted to celebrate Tanzanians as the new “Friends of Moët” as we encourage all life
enthusiasts to seize each moment and celebrate achievements as they happen.

Moët Nectar Impérial is a delicious expression of the Moët & Chandon style. Lively and

generous, with a yellow color nuanced with gold, Moët Nectar Impérial distinguishes itself by

its elegance and richness.

Moët Nectar Impérial’s aromas are generous and rich with tropical fruits such as pineapple

and mango, and the sweet spice of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, it is a succulent

blend of creaminess with the freshness of grapefruit.

The assemblage of Moët Nectar Impérial is built upon the structure of Pinot Noir (40 to 50%),

the flesh of Meunier (30 to 40%) and the freshness of Chardonnay (10 to 20%). The use of

20 to 30% of carefully selected reserve wines completes the assemblage and enhances its

intensity, richness and consistency.

Founded in 1743, Moët & Chandon is the Maison that introduced champagne to the world
by offering a range of unique wines for every occasion. From the iconic Moët Impérial to the
Grand Vintage Collection, the extroverted Moët Rosé Impérial and the unique Nectar
Imperial, each champagne dazzles and delights with bright fruitiness, an enticing palate and
an elegant maturity.

Renowned for its achievements, firsts and legendary pioneering spirit, Moët & Chandon is the
House that introduced champagne to the world. Around the globe, the very words “Moët &
Chandon” are synonymous with the most venerable of traditions and the most modern of
pleasures, celebrating life’s most successful and glamorous moments for nearly 270 years.

Since the days of Jean-Rémy Moët, the House has been a pioneer and an innovator in the art
of celebration. Some of the world’s best-loved traditions, such as the triumphant spray of
Moët & Chandon after a sports victory, the christening of ships with bottles of Moët &
Chandon, and the red carpet toast to a career-making cinema win, are among the House’s
many magical customs.

For nearly three centuries, Moët & Chandon has been an international icon – a worldwide
symbol of style, achievement and the overflowing joy of victory. Imparting its elegance and
splendour, the effervescence of Moët & Chandon transforms the ordinary into the
extraordinary. From the winner’s podium to the red carpet, from celebrating incredible
athletic accomplishments to the world’s most prestigious cinema awards, Moët & Chandon
elevates every occasion with its own special touch of success and glamour.
