Advertising Information Pack


1. An information pack is issued by the company or organised commissioning an
advert. It provides the advertising professional with all the information required to
plan the advertising campaign and market it.
2. This contains promotional material and associated facts about a firm, product or
service, circulation data, audience statistics, rate cards, insertion dates, publication
date etc.
3. If an advertiser has a extensive information on the media platform the advertisement
is to be released on, they can cater it’s needs to make it reach a wider audience.
4. Audience is particularly small they may attempt to find something in this platform
which their audience is most likely to consume.
For example, if they are trying to advertise to people over 70, they may broadcast on
platform that are commonly used by elderly people such as ITV 3, ITV4 and FM.
Research
1. There are specialised market research companies providing studies and surveys
about broadcast media, including television programming, TV ads TV networks and
TV rating.
2. They used to inform the advertising professional about customer responses to the
product or service.

Advertising with TV
When marking an advertisement for TV, it is important that the advertising company know
when is best to broadcast the advert. The time slots for advert differ greatly in price as
certain slots that are considered ‘prime time’ viewing will have many more viewers than time
such as early afternoon or the very late. In ITV they have million of viewer, “Bring your brand

Showing how many college Access to Music college is there around United Kingdom,
college facilities what they have in manchester college, how student use their opportunities
in media or music, using camera, zoom, learning in studio and VR headset, showing how
teachers help the students, and some of the students are asking how much their enjoy the
college and course their studying, every students in the college study in good facilities
college and for music student there will be concerts and everyone can go that concerts, they
want to student in this college with more facilities and some student might change the city for
some reason but they don’t have to worry about the college they continue in some city where
Access to Music college.
Synopsis:
In this begin of video advert we how many college is there around United Kingdom and pick
in Manchester centre what course they have and the facilities, show VR set, camera, zoom,
boomstick, and studio all softwares students are talking each other, teacher are helping
students with their works.

Target Audience:
Primary audience(main target)14 - 19→ student
Secondary audience parents 30 -50
Mature student 20 -25
Primary audience: In my age survey first highest is 21-23 and second highest is 17-20.
This advert will reach primary and secondary audience speedily because in advert we show
many opportunity for students and mature student.

Unique selling point


In unique selling point, USP concept has become one of the eight broad approaches to
creative executions in advertising. The USP approach is recommended where the product
category is characterised by high levels of technological innovation. A clear USP helps
consumers to understand differences between brand offerings in a category, and may also
help consumers to form a positive attitude towards the brand and may ultimately contribute
to improved levels of brand recall. In this advert unique selling is being realistic and having
more freedom and many equipments and student can use more opportunities from the
college. This generation students are interested in all variety of media and they have more
knowledge. This the unique selling point for Primary and Secondary audience.

Budget:
Budget for this advert is under £200 because we use all the equipment from the college and
we don’t need actors we can use college students and teacher for the advert, to sell the
advert to ITV or any company that will be charge.

Technical Constraints:
A technical constraint can be anything that limits the deployment of tidal turbines at a
specific site. It is important to note that some technical constraints are device specific and
not all technical constraints will affect those looking to invest in certain areas.The production
need right equipment for the shoot. In shooting time equipment could break and we have to
take manage the equipment, every end of the day shoot need to hand it over to the college
because most of the equipments is college and crew members should take responsible of
equipment and inside the studio.

Legal and Ethical:


Legal standards are based on written law, while ethical standards are based on human
rights and wrongs. Ethical standards are based on the human principles of right and wrong.
Permission: Before the day shoot starts ask the permission for the building. Everyone in the
cast and crew should sign the form before shooting in road or building.
Copyright: is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an
original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution. This is usually only for a limited
time. The exclusive rights are not absolute but limited by limitations and exceptions to
copyright law, including fair use.
Privacy law: refers to the laws that deal with regulating, storing, and using of personally
identifiable information of individuals, which can be collected by governments, public or
private organizations, or by other individuals.
Libel: is a method of defamation expressed by print, writing, pictures, signs, effigies, or any
communication embodied in physical form that is injurious to a person's reputation, exposes
a person to public hatred, contempt or ridicule, or injures a person in his/her business or
profession.
Equality Act: The Equality Act 2010 legally protects people from discrimination in the
workplace and in wider society. It replaced previous anti-discrimination laws with a single
Act, making the law easier to understand and strengthening protection in some situations.
