Faith in God brings us into a personal relationship with Him. Without faith, man cannot know who God truly is, and without a right relationship with Him, God cannot be pleased. Faith enables us to see God, do exploits for Him, and live in full obedience to His perfect will. Only by faith do we understand that the command of God is life for us. It enables us to do what pleases Him, to be sure of what we hope for, and to be certain of what we do not see. Thus, through faith, we see visions of things to come. Present difficulties simply become requirements for what God has prepared for us, teaching us to see God’s promises from a distance, to have hope, and to take a firm hold of the future.
