Lesson Learning Objective:


Students will be able to:
 Talk about social changes using the passive of the present continuous and present
perfect.

Important considerations:
Encourage self- and peer-correction before providing the right answer.
Activate previous knowledge about passive voice.

Things to keep in mind


Don’t allow Spanish in class.
Don’t forget to let students know how long they can take for each activity.
Elicit information from Ss.
Monitor students in every activity and take notes of important errors to correct students.

How to use the game


 Ss get into trios
 Each group gets a set of cards
 Ss take turns to pick up a card and tell part of the story of the city and the
improvements there have been.
 Each S has to go adding information to the story depending on the picture they pick.
 At the end, Ss have to tell their story to the rest of the group.
 Afterwards, Ss need to choose the story they liked the most.
