Dear Ma’am,

As per the course of Business Communication and Analysis, I have prepared report entitled ‘A
Study of Persuasive Communication in HCL’.

This report examines nature and degrees of persuasive communication used by employees of HCL
at different levels in hierarchy. A survey was conducted among five of the employees in HCL due
to time constraints and responses were recorded accordingly. Report is as per the guidelines
mentioned. I hope you find this report useful.

I want to recognize the help of Mr. Sahil Garg for taking out his time from his busy schedule and
helping me by answering my questions and queries related to persuasive communication in HCL
through circulation among his colleagues.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Organizations in today’s world have been rapidly evolving and adopting latest
market trends involving their employees as well as external parties to stay open
new ideas and changes every day. Understanding the significance of effective
business communication plays a vital role for an employee working in an
organisation.

The report analyses the persuasive communication skills thoroughly from an


organization's perspective and how this plays a vital role in HCL used by
employees to perform their daily jobs. The plan is to analyse different research
papers of written communication skills and understanding the need of it in an
organization irrespective of the industry. This report focusses on giving an
insight from introduction to basic levels of persuasive communication to
analysis of use of persuasive communication exclusively by employees in
HCL.
