Frequency adverbs Explanation:

The frequencies we refer to are those adverbs that are used

to express the periodicity with which an action is
performed, that is, when we want to talk about how often
we do something, or how often something happens. One of
the main problems that Spanish speakers find to use
frequency adverbs in English correctly, has to do with the
position in which we must place them in a sentence.

Rules for using frequency adverbs in English.

With the adverbs of frequency in English, you must be
especially careful, since they can not be placed anywhere
in the sentence. Depending on the type of verb we will use
it in one position or another, taking into account that, as
almost everything in English also exists some exception

In the case of adverbs of frequency, the general rule is that

they are placed before the verb:

I always go to bed at 10 pm.

She never says “good morning” when she arrives at the
office.

As you can see the basic structure of the sentence would

be: Subject + Frequency Adverb + Main Verb + Add-ons

In the case that the adverbs of frequency accompany the

verb to be, they will be placed behind:

She is always happy.

You are never on time.

In this case, the structure is different from the previous

one: Subject + Word Be + Frequency Adverb + Add-ons

The connectors are elements that put in connection
