Welcome to Ms. Veteto’s first grade classroom!


Here you will find the lesson plans I have left for you today, along with everything
else you might need. Throughout the pages you will find additional contact
information, our classroom schedule, the class roster, a behavior log, and the
procedures to follow in case of an emergency. If you have any questions or
concerns, my partner teacher, Ms. Crosswhite in Room 214 will be glad to assist
you.

SUBJECT TIME NOTES


If the students arrive after 8:10
Morning Meeting 8:00 – 8:20 am am, they are to be marked
tardy.
Reading 8:20 – 9:05 am Refer to lesson plan
Writing 9:10 – 9:55 am Refer to lesson plan
The book the class is reading is
Read Aloud 10:00 – 10:35 am on the white board, under the
Read Aloud anchor chart.
The students will grab their
Lunch 10:40 – 11:10 am lunch box out of their cubby
when you allow them to line up
for lunch.
Recess 11:15 – 11:45 am My partner teacher will assist
you during recess.
Math 11:50 am – 12:40 pm Refer to lesson plan
Choose any book from the book
shelf. The snacks are in the
Read Aloud / Snack 12:45 – 1:30 pm pantry behind the teacher desk,
along with the cups. The
students are having animal
crackers.
Science 1:35 – 2:20 pm Refer to lesson plan
Daily Reflection 2:25 – 2:50 pm Refer to lesson plan
The class schedule has a list of
where each child goes at the
Clean up & Dismiss 2:55 – 3:10 pm end of the day. Please mark a
check once the child has been
escorted to the correct line.

The emergency drill and evacuation procedure signs are located on the wall next
to the sink. There is a large green folder hanging by the door with very specific
directions for every type of emergency drill possible.
