PG Diploma in Industrial Automation System Design (PC100)

Starting on 26th March 2018

The following list of students are selected based on the application and proof of
registration received until 15th March 2018. They should report for admission on 26th
March 2018 at 9:30 AM at NIELIT Calicut. The original certificates and mark sheets
starting from 10th (SSLC) to qualifying degree have to be produced for verification and
self-attested copies should be submitted.

All the candidates who are selected in the list can remit an Advance Fee as
mentioned in Section-2 and the details regarding remittance should be mailed to
pc100@calicut.nielit.in on or before 23rd March 2018 to confirm their seat (failing
which the selection will be cancelled).

Those who have applied for the course and not included in the selection lists may
send a mail to pc100@calicut.nielit.in on or before 23rd March 2018 with registration
fee details

* Prevailing rate is calculated based on 18% GST. In case of increase in GST rate,
candidate is required to pay the difference in tax for the unpaid installment payable
after the date of implementation of revised tax.

** Course Fee is exempted for SC/ST students. However they are required to remit
refundable security deposit of Rs. 8,260/- which will be refunded only after
successful completion of the course. This amount will be forfeited if the student fails
to complete the course successfully.

2.b) Mode of payment: The course fee can be paid by one of the following methods as
per your convenient.

POS Facility:
Point of Sale (POS)/Card Swiping Machine facility is available at Accounts section for the
purpose of remittance of amount dues to the Centre.

As of now, there may not be any additional charge for usage of SBI / SB Group’s Debit/ATM Cards,
while making payment. However there could be additional charges (up to 2% of payment) for cards of
other banks depending on the policy of the card issuing bank/type of card.

 The fees can be paid directly into our account from any bank where core banking facility is
available (NEFT/RTGS). The details required for direct payment are as given below.

The depositor should obtain the UTR Number/Journal No from the branch while depositing

 Through any branch of SBI (where this format is accepted) using the pay in slip available in our
web site. The scanned copy of the counterfoil should reach here on or before 23rd Mar 2018,
4 by email. Original of the counterfoil should be produced at the time of counseling.

Demand Draft to be drawn in favor of Director, NIELIT, Payable at State Bank of India, Calicut
5 NIT Branch (2207). The DD should reach here on or before 23rd Mar 2018. (scanned copy of
the DD may be sent to pc100@calicut.nielit.in )

The Institute will not be responsible for any mistakes done by either the bank concerned or
by the depositor while remitting the amount into our account.

Before payment of the first installment of fees the applicants may ensure themselves
that they meet all the admission criteria. In case applicants need any clarification they
can contact us over phone/ email or come over to our centre directly before payment of
fees. The fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

3) Admission:

Your admission will be confirmed after verification of certificates and remitting

the first installment of course fee on the counseling date (26th Mar 2018). On the date
of counseling, students shall report at our centre at 9:30 A.M. Admission is subject
to satisfying the requirements. Candidates offered admission would have to remit the
first installment of course fee on the same day of counseling, failing which the admission
is not guaranteed.

Students are requested to bring with them the following as applicable:

1. Proof of payment of first installment fee (if already paid).

2. Original and copy of Aadhaar Card/any ID proof.
3. Original and photo copy of proof of Date of Birth (SSLC or equivalent).
4. Original and photo copies of the Mark Lists of the Qualifying Examination.
5. Original and photo copies of the Degree Certificate of the Qualifying Examination
6. Final year students have to bring original and photocopies of course completion
certificate of their qualifying degree and mark lists up to the last semester/ year.
7. Original and two attested copies of Community Certificate (It must be in English
or Hindi only, as per the Govt. of India Format) of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled
Tribe candidates from a competent authority (not below the rank of a Tahsildar).
8. The students should bring two copies of passport size photograph for
application form and one for ID card.

4) Hostel & Canteen facilities:
Hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls on daily or monthly chargeable
basis. The hostel fee varies from Rs. 1,400/- to Rs1, 500/-. However, students are required
to pay the hostel fees for the duration of the course for which they are seeking
admission at the time of joining the course.

Canteen & Mess facility is available for both boys & girls, students, those who avail mess
facility should pay monthly mess fee @Rs.130/- per day. An amount of Rs.1,000/-
should be paid as mess advance to the Canteen Contractor at the time of joining the
mess which will be adjusted in the last month mess fee.
An amount of Rs.3,000/- should be paid as caution deposit (hostel & mess) at the time
of joining the hostel which will be refunded/adjusted at the end of the course.

5) Location and How to reach NIELIT Calicut:

NIELIT Calicut is located very close to NIT campus and is about 22Kms from the Calicut
(Kozhikode) city. A number of buses (Buses to NIT via Kunnamangalam) are available
from "Palayam Bus Stand and KSRTC Bus Stand". The bus stop at our Institute is called
"Panthrand (12th mile)" and is one stop before NIT. The bus fare is around Rs.17/- from
Calicut City to NIELIT.

Calicut (Kozhikode) is well connected by Rail, Road and Air form different parts of the
country. The maximum and minimum temperatures range between 350C and 20oC.
