Easter Scavenger Hunt

[CITE YOUR SOURCE HERE.]

Instructions: Read the Scripture reference to find a clue. Then take a picture of an item
mentioned in the scripture or be creative and take a picture of something that reminds you of
this part of the Atonement story. Be prepared to share your picture and explain it to the group
when your team has found all of the items. If you cannot find something, you can draw a
picture of it to share. Have fun!

1. Something outside that is the same color at the item in John 12:12-13.
How was Jesus greeted when he entered the city of Jerusalem on this occasion?

2. Find an item that Jesus uses in John 13:4-17.

What do you think Jesus meant when he told Peter “If I wash thee not, thou hast no
part with me.”?

3. What food item did Jesus give to the disciples to remind them of His body in Luke
22:14-20? What ordinance do we participate in today that was started at this “last
supper?”

4. The item Christ asked God to “remove from me” in Luke 22:39-46. What did Jesus
ask his friends to do? What did they actually do?

5. The body part referred to in Luke 22:47-51. How did Christ respond to those who
would hurt Him?

6. What animal is mentioned in Luke 22:54-62 (specifically 61). Can we sometimes see
ourselves in Peter’s story?

7. The color mentioned in verse 17 of Mark 15:15-20 or another item. How was Jesus
treated by the soldiers?

8. The object that Jesus carried in John 19:17-19. What did the sign say that hung
above Christ?

9. The item used in verse 60 of Matt 27:50-60. What did the soldiers say about Christ
in verse 54 and why?

10. The body part that is shown in verse 20 of John 20:11-20 and 30-31
