Discussion et conclusion
• Les SNAGs au niveau lombaire ont un intérêt clinique et scientifique
dans le traitement de la lombalgie mécanique
• Les MWMS sont des techniques faciles à utiliser et douces et “sans douleur”

• Benjamin was born in December 1975 in Belgium. He had completed his master degrees
in Physical Education supplemented with a pedagogical degree for teaching in 2000 (PE)
and in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation (PT) in 2002 at the Faculty of Motor Sciences
from the “Université Catholique de Louvain” (UCL), Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. He had
also completed a degree in Osteopathy (DO) in 2007 after 5 years of continuing education
at the Sutherland College of Osteopathic Medicine, Belgium. Benjamin was also certified
in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMT) from Manual Concepts, Curtin University,
Australia in 2011, as well as from the UCL in 2014 after 2 years of continuing education.
He will present his PhD in March 2015 on the topic of evidence based OMT for LBP
people. He has fulfilled many other certificates: e.g. in sport physiotherapy, trigger point
therapy, mobilization with movement (Mulligan concept), spinal manipulative therapy,
functional movements assessment, classification based cognitive functional therapy for
low back pain, as well as in specific osteopathic care and he continues to learn with
continuing education courses in his field of interest.
• Between 2002 until now, Benjamin has specialized in the evaluation and treatment of
neuro-musculo-skeletal patients’ disorders of the whole body for elite sportsmen and for
“normal” people in his private clinical practice. In the last 6 years he has focused his
clinical and research expertise on the spine particularly on the lumbo-pelvic region. For
many years, he is an accomplished practitioner, teacher and researcher in the neuro-
musculo-skeletal field. Of course these three areas of expertise and skills are
complementary and interrelated. They provide to Benjamin an overall view of OMT and
a great satisfaction in his work, and he hopes a good quality of care and education
respectively for his patients and students.
