Important Notes from the Teachers:
AZ Merit State testing is quickly approaching. It will
take place starting Tuesday,April 3rd and will continue
until Friday, April 6th. In order to ensure that your
child does their best, please make sure that they get a
good night’s rest the night before each school day, eat
a healthy breakfast, and bring healthy snacks to school
that they can eat after each session.
In order to better prepare them for the day, make
sure that they are continuing to practice their
multiplication and division facts, as well as other math,
reading, and writing concepts we have studied
throughout the year.
Curriculum Update
Language Arts: We are back into grammar
lessons!
Reading: We will begin another literature
study after AZ Merit. Each class is focusing on a
different chapter book for the next 3 weeks.
Math- We will be working our way through
measurement, geometry, and time for the
remainder of the year. Please keep up on math
facts as it is VITAL in fourth grade to know
those facts!
Science: We are continuing our unit on Rocks
& Minerals.
Social Studies: We are looking at local and
national levels of government.

We know that each and every one of them will do their

very best and we do not want them to feel stressed out
about the test. As long as they come to school, rested
and full of a good breakfast, they will do just fine!
