MULTIPLAN STARTS IN RIBEIRÃO PRETO THE DEVELOPMENT OF
AN OFFICE TOWER FOR SALE INTEGRATED TO RIBEIRÃOSHOPPING

Rio de Janeiro, September 15, 2010 – Multiplan Empreendimentos Imobiliários S.A. HIGHLIGHTS
(BM&FBovespa: MULT3) announces the development of Centro Profissional
RibeirãoShopping, an office tower located across from RibeirãoShopping, in the city of Delivery: December 2012
Ribeirão Preto, state of São Paulo.

The building will have 12,569 m² of private area for sale, with 288 condo offices and an
Estimated PSV: R$ 77.9 million
estimated potential sales value (PSV) of R$77.9 million. Multiplan will have 100% interest
in the project. The office tower should be delivered by December, 2012. Multiplan’s interest: 100%
This project reinforces Multiplan’s strategy of developing mixed-use complexes, which
combine commercial and residential real estate projects with shopping centers operations.
The goal is to increase the flow of consumers to the mall as well as the value of the
buildings in the surrounding areas, promoting the synergic effect between retail and
services.
RibeirãoShopping, with 46,784 m² of gross leasable area (GLA), opened in 1981 and is a
reference in the countryside of the state of São Paulo. Over the last two years, two
expansions added more than 7,000 m² of GLA to the shopping center.
In addition to Centro Profissional RibeirãoShopping, Multiplan has another ten projects
under development: four shopping center greenfields, three shopping center expansions
and three office towers (two for lease and one for sale).
