Beginning the Lesson
1. Before we start the lesson I will introduce myself and I will let the students
know the rules in my class
 Raise your hand before you talk
 Respect teacher and other classmates
 Teacher claps three times means the teacher needs attention OR “one,
two, three; eyes on me”
 Two figure means toilet
 Thumb up means water
 Be quiet during the teaching. If students have any question should
raise their hand first and if they got the permission then they can talk
 Listen carefully---instructions

1. Before we start I want to share one Chinese word:


 船
 First part means boat
 Up part means eight and the down part means people
 Which means Noah and his family.
 We can know God is really amazing through the language. So many languages in
the world and all of these languages created by God. So we need to thankful
heart when we are learning mandarin. All of this is from God.
2. List down the new vocabularies from the article.
 Students be able to know the meaning of these new words and be able to read
these words
 Tiger - lao hu
 Elephant – da xiang
 Lion – shi zi
 Chicken – ji
 Fish- yu
 Bird – niao

Developing the Lesson


1. Teacher will lead the students to read the story loudly together (new words)
2. Teacher give them opportunity to ask questions about this story or something they don’t
understand
Lead the students review those key vocabularies again teacher will ask students
3. Students will translate the story into their own language and the teacher will check

Closing the Lesson


1. Teacher will check their work one by one
2. Teacher will help student to correct the mistakes
