Grammar Notes:

Conjunctions are words which are used to join words, phrases and sentences.
Examples:
(i) and is used to join nouns, adjectives or phrases.
(ii) or and either ...... or are used when there is a choice between two things.
(iii) but and although are used to join two opposing statements.
(iv) because, since and as always show a reason for a particular action.
(v) therefore and so are used to show result.
