For the week ending September 4, New Listings in the MRIS New Listings ......... 2
region were down 8.2 percent compared to the same time last
year, with 3,742 new properties coming on the market. This
slowdown in seller activityy will ensure that inventoryy remains
Pending Sales ......... 3
below last year's levels, and that's a good thing.
Active Listings ......... 4
The 2,273 signed purchase agreements represented an 9.4
percent decrease in Pending Sales. This dip in buyer activity is on
par with the previous week, although it does mark the third Most Recent Month
consecutive week of year-over-year declines.

Although Pending Sales were down, the number of Active Listings Days on Market Until Sale ......... 5
for Sale was also down 4.0 percent from last year and current
inventory trendline has been diverging down and away from last
year's - a factor that will continue to bring stability to the market. Percent of Original List Price Received at Sale ......... 6
With August numbers out, market times decreased 16.4 percent
to 77 days, negotiations leaned 0.4 percent more toward buyers, Housing Affordability Index ......... 7
and Months Supply of Inventory decreased 7.5 percent to 7.0
months.
