EMPIRE STATE BULLETIN

Volume  56,  Issue  5
March  2018

My  brother  Knights,
State
As  we  approach  the  fourth  quarter  of  our  Columbian  year,  I  would  like
to  take  time  to  reflect  on  what  has  transpired,  and  what  is  coming  up.   deputy
Over  the  first  8  months  of  this  year,  we  have  seen  tremendous  growth   message:
in  some  of  our  programs.      Our  charitable  outreach  is  doing
tremendously  well.    Our  C&B  campaign  finished  strong,  and  we  had  to
overcome  a  few  hiccups  along  the  way.    Our  Charities  Director,  Rocco
D’Erasmo  and  the  C&B  team  led  by  Tony  Marengo,  are  preparing  for
another  great  C&B  Campaign.    Every  council  should  take  advantage  of
the  C&B  Program,  as  it  is  a  phenomenal  way  to  extend  your  councils
charitable  outreach.

Our  Program  Director  Robert  Graziano  is  leading  the  State  Council  in
all  our  Program  efforts.    We  must  constantly  promote  ALL  our  order
wide  programs,  as  this  is  a  way  to  draw,  AND  keep  members   Kenneth F. Latham Jr.
State Deputy
interested  in  the  order.   of
The New York State
On  the  membership  front  we  are  lagging  just  a  little.    It  is  imperative   Council
that  councils  recruit  YEAR-‐ROUND  and  increase  the  ranks  of  Knights  in
their  respective  councils.    I  am  excited  to  inform  everyone  that  some

very  good  news  came  to  us  from  Supreme  jus  the  other  day.

Beginning  in  mid-‐March,  the  ONLINE  MEMBERSIP  will  be  coming  to
New  York.    This  is  another  tool,  which  we  must  take  advantage  of  to
grow  the  ranks  of  all  our  local  councils.    We  will  be  going  to  every
area  of  the  state  to  explain  how  this  new  and  exciting  program
works.    Look  for  more  details  in  future  issues,  our  State  Website,  and
also  from  Membership  Director  Ed  Willie  and  his  team.

Another  new  initiative  for  the  State  will  be  council  Officer  and
Leadership  training  in  late  spring.    State  Training  Chairman  Jack  McArdle  has  a  FULL  slate  of  training
throughout  the  state.    Every  Minor  Conference  WILL  have  a  training  session,  so  I  encourage  anyone  who  is  an
officer  of  his  council,  as  well  as  anyone  interested  in  becoming  an  officer  to  attend  one  of  these  sessions
when  it  comes  to  your  area.

In  closing,  I  can  only  express  how  anxious  I  am  to  see  how  all  these  new  programs  will  help  us  grow  the  order
and  become  better  Knights  in  the  very  near  future.

LET  US  EXPAND  OUR  MISSION

EASTER 2018

Dear Brother Knights,

In the 1950’s, the Dominican Father Jacques Loew was a worker-priest in the port of Marseilles,
France. One day he challenged his fellow stevedores in the port to make a synthesis of their
Christianity in such a way that it could be written in the space of a postage stamp and summarize it
in just three words. His witness bore fruit when the stevedores in unison responded, “Christ is
risen!”
Yes, that says it all, Christ is risen. There is no better way to describe the Easter mystery except by
those three words, Christ is risen. Christ is risen, indeed.
As Saint Paul tells us, “If Christ was not raised from the dead our faith would be in vain.” It is Christ
who in Resurrection once and for all conquers sin and death, so that no one who ever comes to
believe in Him would ever have to suffer eternal death and also anyone believing in Him would be
raised to life on the last day. The world has never received any greater promise with greater
assurance. Christ the Son is the living God who died for the salvation of all humankind that invites
us to enter the mystery of salvation by declaring to the whole world that He is risen.
We live our declaration of the resurrection in our daily lives just as the stevedores of Marseilles.
Christ is proclaimed as risen not only from the pulpits of our churches, but also from our homes,
offices, schools and all places of work. Your work and commitment as Knights of Columbus
proclaims to the world that Christ is risen. The transforming power of the resurrection enables us to
turn evil to good, to overcome sin and all the obstacles put in the path of a happy existence.
During the time after Easter, perhaps we can resolve to proclaim Christ is risen more loudly and
clearly than ever before. Brother Knights, please consider those circumstances in need of
transformation and change, circumstances calling for conversion. If only we have the courage to
say Christ is risen, we will rise along with Him. We will be able to transform and to change the
world in which we live.

Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, Ph.D., D.D.

Worthy  NY  State  Council  Leaders,

We  struggled  a  bit  in  February  with  New  York  only  achieving  60%  of  our  monthly  Gain

INCENTIVES  FOR  RECRUITMENT

SUBJECT:  Star  Council  per  capita  Credit  of  $4.50  for  this  fraternal  year,  2017-‐2018

As  in  the  past  three  fraternal  years,  the  Supreme  Knight  announced  this  past  weekend
at  the  Mid-‐Year  meeting  of  State  Deputies  in  Washington,  DC,  that  the  per  capita  credit
of  $4.50  will  again  be  offered  this  fraternal  year  to  all  councils  achieving  Star  Council
status.  This  per  capita  credit  applies  only  for  billable  members  in  the  United  States,  its
territories,  and  Canada.  Billable  members  are  all  members  except  for  honorary  life  and
disability  exemptions.
We  encourage  you  to  communicate  this  incentive  to  all  of  your  councils  and  inspire
them  to  attain  any  one  of  the  levels  of  Star  Council.  The  Star  Council  program  is
designed  to  help  a  council  focus  on  all  of  the  key  areas  that  fulfill  the  vision  of  our
founder,  the  Venerable  Father  Michael  J.  McGivney:  membership  growth,  charitable
program  outreach,  and  protection  for  families.
It  is  our  hope  that  this  incentive,  which  will  provide  direct  financial  benefits  for  councils,
will  allow  us  to  achieve  a  record  number  of  Star  Councils  this  fraternal  year!
SUBJECT:  New  Membership  Recruitment  Lottery  Incentive  Opportunity  World
Meeting  of  Families,  Dublin,  Ireland:  August  21-‐26,  2018

In  response  to  the  Holy  Father's  exhortation  to  strengthen  the  Domestic  Church  and  the
Order’s  strong  commitment  to  families,  the  Supreme  Knight  announced  at  the  Mid-‐Year
Meeting  of  State  Deputies  this  lottery  incentive  for  10  couples  to  attend  the
World  Meeting  of  Families  in  Dublin,  Ireland  with  all  expenses  paid.

Here’s  how  it  works:  beginning  December  1st,  2017,  every  time  that  you  recruit  a
member  into  the  Order  through  June  30th,  2018,  your  name  will  go  into  a  drawing  and
on  July  1st,  2018,  ten  names  will  be  drawn  at  random.  If  you  are  a  winner,  we  will  notify
you  and  your  wife  immediately  so  you  can  plan  this  once  in  a  lifetime  opportunity  to
interact  with  families  from  all  over  the  world.  When  you  return,  you  can  become  a
beacon  of  light  for  other  families  in  your  council,  community,  and  state.

The  more  men  that  you  recruit,  the  greater  the  probability  you  will  have  to  win  this  trip.
So  please  communicate  this  incentive  to  all  of  your  council  members  so  that  they  can
have  the  chance  to  win  this  experience  of  a  lifetime.  For  more  information  on  the  World
meeting  of  Families  2018,  please  visit:  www.worldmeeting2018.ie.

New York State Pro-Life Chairman Rick Kenney
“Love Saves Lives”
LAST YEAR, IN A HISTORIC FIRST, IT WAS VICE PRESIDENT MIKE PENCE WHO SPOKE
AT THE RALLY PRIOR TO THE PRO-LIFE MARCH AND DECLARED “LIFE IS WINNING.” THIS
YEAR, PRESIDENT TRUMP ADDRESSED THE RALLY AND SAID: “BECAUSE OF YOU, TENS OF
THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS HAVE BEEN BORN AND REACHED THEIR FULL GOD-GIVEN
POTENTIAL.” PERHAPS SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE PAUL RYAN SAID IT BEST: “TRUTH IS ON
OUR SIDE. LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION, SCIENCE IS ON OUR SIDE. MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE
PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT IS ON THE RISE BECAUSE WE HAVE LOVE ON OUR SIDE.” RECALL THAT
THE THEME OF THIS YEAR’S RALLY WAS “LOVE SAVES LIVES.”
AT THE VIGIL MASS, CARDINAL DOLAN REMINDED ELECTED OFFICIALS “WE HOLD
THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF-EVIDENT THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL.” DOES OUR
CONSTITUTION IN FACT DENY THE EQUAL PROTECTION OF THE LAW TO THE WEAKEST
AND MOST VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF THE HUMAN FAMILY? OUR ANSWER MUST BE
THAT EVERYONE COUNTS – FROM CONCEPTION TO NATURAL DEATH. THE ARGUMENTS IN
ROE v WADE TURN OUR BEST MORAL TRADITIONS UPSIDE DOWN, EFFECTIVELY GIVING
PREFER-ENCE TO THE CLAIMS OF THE STRONG OVER THOSE OF THE WEAK. THINK ABOUT
IT: UTTER HELPLESSNESS DEMANDS UTTER PROTECTION. ANY OTHER INTERPRETATION IS
A SELF-DESTROYING CONCEPTION OF “EQUALITY.”
TO CONCLUDE, I URGE YOU NOW TO GO FORTH, ARMED WITH THIS INFORMATION,
REENERGIZED, AND READY. SCIENCE IS ON OUR SIDE. BASIC UNIVERSALLY SHARED
PRINCIPLES OF JUSTICE AND EQUALITY ARE ON OUR SIDE. REMEMBER ALSO, THAT
ELECTIONS MATTER! WE MUST ALL PUSH HARDER TO PROMOTE THE DEFINITION OF
HEALTH, NOT VIABILITY OR MURDER. WE MUST HUMANIZE THE UNBORN CHILD – PAIN,
DISMEMBER-
MENT, FETAL REMAINS CARRIED OUT AS SO MUCH GARBAGE. WE MUST SHOW THAT THE
PRO-LIFE MOVEMENT CARES MORE ABOUT WOMEN (AND THEIR BABIES) THAN THE
ABORTION RIGHTS MOVEMENT. WE MUST ENGAGE THE DEBATE VIGOROUSLY, BUT
ALWAYS WITH CHARITY AND CIVILITY. AND WE MUST NEVER STOP PRAYING. JESUS SAID
“I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND YES, THE LIFE!”

The  State  Training  Team  has  exceeded  our  goal  on  the  number  of  Financial  Secretary
Training  sessions  by  Supreme  with  two  in  each  major  conference.  Unfortunately,  we

FAMILY  OF  THE  YEAR  -‐  Paul  S.Gursky

Each  year,  those  councils  participating  in  the  “FAMILY  OF  THE  MONTH”  program  should  also
select  a  “FAMILY  OF  THE  YEAR.”  When  selecting  your  council’s  “Family  of  the  Year,”  follow
the  guidelines  similar  to  those  used  by  the  committee  in  choosing  the  “Family  of  the
Month.”  The  guidelines  are  as  follows:

A)  Has  the  family  made  significant  contributions  to  the  Church,  community,  and/or  council?
B)  Does  the  family  share  experiences?  C)  Does  the  family  communicate  openly  and
honestly?  D)  Does  the  family  pray  and  attend  Mass  together?
E)  Does  the  family  spend  its  time  together  interacting  instead  of  in  front  of  the  television?

The  “Family  of  the  Year”  is  chosen  from  those  named  “Family  of  the  Month”  in  the
preceding  twelve  months.  Your  judging  committee  should  consider  whether  each  family  has
continued
to  exemplify  the  traits  of  a  solid  Knights  of  Columbus  family.  The  “Family  of  the  Month”
committee  need  not  seek  out  a  “Super  Family”  each  month.  The  committee  should  look  for
a  family  that  lives  traditional  Christian  family  values  and  deserves  recognition  for  doing  so.
“The  Family  of  the  Month”  program  is  an  excellent  way  to  recognize  and  support  council
families.  Participate  in  the  program  and  each  month  your  Family  of  the  Month  has  a  chance
to  be  a  Supreme  Council  selection.

During  the  first  two  months  of  this  Columbian  Year,  the  NYS  Council  didn’t  have  any
submissions  for  the  Family  of  the  Month.  Since  then,  there  have  been  at  least  two
submissions  for  the  month  of  September  and  two  for  the  month  of  October.  For  the  month

We  have  been  very  busy  preparing  for  our  State  Deputy  Golf  Outing  on
May  21st  at  Marine  Park  Golf  Course  in  Brooklyn.    We  hope  you  will  join  us

generate  members  as  well  as  to  get  to  know  brother  Knights  from
different  councils.    Attached  is  the  golf  promo  flyer.    Please  support  the  outing  by  getting
together  a  foursome.    If  you  don’t  golf  you  can  always  join  us  for  the  dinner.    Please

FOOD FOR FAMILIES: Richard Laws
Did  you  know  that  more  than  3  million  New  Yorkers  rely  on  assistance  programs
throughout  the  year  to  help  feed  themselves  and  their  families?    Nearly  1  million  of  them
are  children.    Or  to  understand  it  another  way,  one  in  eight  New  Yorkers  have  such  a
nutritional  need,  and  they  live  in  our  communities.
We,  as  Knights  of  Columbus,  are  in  a  position  to  help  alleviate  some  of  this  hunger  through
our  Food  for  Families  Program.    By  partnering  with  a  community  food  bank  or  parish
outreach  ministry,  your  council,  assembly  or  circle  can  make  a  difference  in  the  lives  of  the
hungry,  many  young  families  with  children  or  senior  citizens  with  meager  means.
With  this  being  the  holiest  time  of  the  year,  and  to  help  spark  activity  in  the  program,  we
are  encouraged  to  conduct  a  “40  Cans  for  Lent  program.”    This  is  a  simple-‐to-‐conduct
program  that  asks  each  council  member,  along  with  the  parish  community,  to  donate  one
can  of  food  for  each  day  of  Lent.    These  foodstuffs  are  then  donated  to  a  local  parish
outreach  or  soup  kitchen  to  help  replenish  their  pantries.
Please  consider  your  good  fortune  if  you  go  to  bed  with  a  full  stomach,  with  no  concerns
from  where  your  next  meal  will  come.  Make  this  Lent  memorable  for  our  hungry  neighbors
when  you  join  with  your  Brother  Knights  throughout  the  Order  and  conduct  this  most
important  program.

My  Dear  Brother  Knights,

Currently  we  have  an  opportunity  to  take  Action  to  Stop  Gov.  Cuomo's  Late-‐Term
Abortion  Expansion  Plan.
In  his  recent  Executive  Budget  proposal,  Governor  Andrew  Cuomo  included  a  radical
bill  that  would  expand  late-‐term  abortions  in  New  York  State.  The  language  of  this  proposal
is  similar  to  past  attempts  but  goes  even  further  by  legalizing  infanticide  when  a  baby  is
born  alive  during  an  attempted  abortion.  The  bill  also  would  eliminate  New  York's  ban  on
late-‐term  abortions,  empower  non-‐doctors  to  perform  abortions,  and  remove  protections
against  unwanted  or  coerced  abortions.
The  enacted  state  budget  requires  three-‐way  negotiation  and  must  be  finalized  by
April  1.  The  State  Senate  is  our  only  hope  to  stop  this  horrific  abortion  scheme.  Please  let
your  State  Senator  know  that  they  must  not  allow  the  state  budget  to  be  used  as  a  vehicle

for  expanding  late-‐term  abortion  and  legalizing  infanticide.  Click  the  link  below  to  email

COLUMBIETTE/LADIES AUXILIARY - Jim Cullen

How  did  we  get  involved  in  the  Columbian  Family,  well  it  was  after  Mass  at  St  Vito’s  Parish,
we  just  moved  into  Mamaroneck,  I  heard  a  voice,  Tony  Marcella  talking  about  a  Catholic
organization  in  the  Parish?  There  was  the  Columbiettes  for  the  ladies.  We  were  new  and  the
Knights  and  Columbiettes,  a  great  way  to  meet  new  friends.  We  started  our  journey  in  the
Columbian  family.  What  a  great  ride!!
I  learned  that  I  could  come  to  the  Columbiette  meetings  and  really  know  what  the
Columbiettes  were  all  about.  Brother  Knights  and  Sister  Columbiettes  worked  together,
other  ministries  also  to  make  the  St  Vito’s  fiesta  a  huge  success.  The  evenings  that  we  had
events,

Night  at  the  Races  and  the  Christmas  Party  (see  below).  The  Columbiettes  were  a  busy
bunch!!!!

As  reports  came  from  around  the  State  the  interest  in  forming  Columbiette  auxiliaries
seemed

to  peek.  Our  contact  from  BMS  Joe  Muller  told  us  about  Staten  Island  Council  being
interested,  as  well  as  Newly  formed  Fr.  Capodanno  Council  who  voted  in  the  Columbiettes.
As  we  move  up  north  Ossining  Council  and  a  newly  forming  council  at  St  Patrick’s  Parish  in
Armonk  are  quite  interested.    John  Valoski  tells  us  of  St  Jerome’s  Parish  and  Church  of  the
Holy  Spirit  Council  #16411  in  Penfield  are  interested  as  well.  Membership  is  the  life  blood  of
any  organization  and  the  Columbiettes  seem  to  be  growing.

Food for Families:
Our Supreme Council encourages our local councils to participate in the Food for Families
Program by offering financial rebates to councils and assemblies. For every $500 or 1,000 pounds
that a council or assembly donates to a parish food pantry, community food bank or soup kitchen
they will refund $100 up to $500 a Columbian year. Supreme will cumulate your contributions of
food and/or monetary donations for the fraternal year. There is no need to send in a refund request
every time a contribution is made. Participating councils must be in the Food for Families
Reimbursement Program (Form #10057) and send to Supreme.
Our councils have done great collecting and donating food for their local food pantries, food
banks or soup kitchens, especially during Thanksgiving, Christmas and also the 40 cans for forty
days program during Lent.

Catholic School Support and Matching Funds:

Supporting Catholic Education is very important for the future of Our Catholic Church. New
York State Council’s Matching Funds Program for Catholic Schools and Faith Formation Religious
Education is a way our councils can support Catholic Education.
New York State Council Matching Funds Program; If your council donates $500 or more to a
Catholic school, New York State Council will match up to $1,000, and if your council donates $250
or more to Faith Formation Religious Education, New York State Council will match up to $500.
Last year and the first half of our current Colombian Year your council’s Catholic Schools and Faith
Formation Religious Education had to wait until the C&B program ended on December 2, 2017 to
start matching funds.
Our members have supported many events that were held by New York State Council, Local
Chapters and your councils throughout our great State of New York for Catholic schools’ support.

External Fundraising:
The New State Council has held 2 events for Catholic Education one at a NY Yankee game
and the other at a Brooklyn Nets game. In August the State Council hosted an event at a SI
Yankee game for the Wheelchair Mission. On March 22, 2018 there is a fundraiser for Special
Olympics at the NY Islander game. On May 12, 2018 the NYS Council is having a fundraiser for
Catholic Education at the Yankee game. Everyone that purchases a ticket from us will receive a NY
Yankee hat at the with the 3rd Degree logo on the side. Your External Fundraising Coordinators
flyers with more information on how to purchase tickets will be available.

  SPECIAL  OLYMPICS

Freezin’  for  a  Reason:  Manresa  Council  Braves  the  Cold

On  December  4th,  2017,  the  Manresa  Knights  of  Columbus  were  “Freezin’  for  a  Reason”  as  they  took  an  icy
dip  into  the  cold  waters  of  the  Atlantic  Ocean  off  of  South  Beach,  Staten  Island.  The  council,  for  the  4th  year
in   a   row,   participated   in   the   Special   Olympics   of   New   York’s   annual   Polar   Plunge.  The   yearly   event   raises
awareness  and  funds  for  local  Special  Olympic  Athletes  in  New  York.

Led   by   team   captain,   Sir   Knight   Bill   Muller,   the   Manresa   squad   of   15   brave   Knights   endured   the   frigid
temperatures,   and   plunged   into   the   ocean   to   support   this   worthy   cause.     Through   its   fundraising   efforts,
Team  Manresa  raised  a  total  of  $9,850;  earning  the  team  the  distinction  of  Boardwalk  Challenge  Winner,  an
honor  bestowed  to  the  highest  fundraising  non-‐high  school  team.

Those  who  took  part,  say  the  cold  was  well  worth  it.  "The  water  may  be  cold  but  our  hearts  are  warmed  by
the  generous  support  of  our  donors,  the  encouragement  by  our  beach  cheering  section,  and  the  knowledge
that  we  are  helping  a  very  deserving  cause,”  said  Team  Captain  Bill  Muller.  “Between  the  great  cause  and
the  camaraderie  displayed  on  the  beach  each  year,  I  am  extremely  proud  to  be  captain  of  this  great  team."

Captain  Muller  and  Manresa  are  already  actively  recruiting  new  members  for  Team  Manresa,  and  looking
to  make  the  2018  Polar  Plunge  in  December  its  best  ever.    Manresa  invites  all  brother  Knights  across  New
York  State  to  join  in  the  cause  as  a  participant  or  donor.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Silver Rose Program -
Danny Rodriguez Chairman

Since  1960,  the  Our  Lady  of  Guadalupe  Silver  Rose  has  been  a  Knights  of  Columbus  tradition.
In  recent  years,  beginning  each  March,  instead  of  carrying  a  single  live  rose  on  one  route,
silver  roses  are  carried  on  eight  routes  across  North  America,  with  Knights  of  Columbus  from
Canada  to  Mexico  carrying  the  roses  from  destination  to  destination,  and  finally,  each
December  12th,  to  the  Shrine  of  Our  Lady  of  Guadalupe  in  Monterrey,  Mexico.  Every  stop,
at  cathedrals,  churches  and  Knights  of  Columbus  councils  along  the  route  of  the  Silver  Rose
Pilgrimage  is  an  occasion  for  prayer  and  spiritual  renewal  centered  on  the  rosary.

INSURANCE  LIAISON              Eric  Izzo  -‐  Chairman

Think you are too old for Coverage? Maybe not
You  are  never  too  young  or  too  old  to  consider  purchasing  life  insurance.  If  you  have  a
financial  need  for  coverage,  or  will  in  the  future,  a  permanent  life  insurance  policy  can  be
just  the  thing  you  need.
When  you  are  young  and  presumably  healthy,  coverage  will  be  very  inexpensive  when
compared  to  purchasing  the  same  policies  when  you  are  older.
If  you’ve  put  off  purchasing  coverage,  or  you  realize  that  you  may  need  additional
insurance,  the  Order  may  still  be  able  to  help  you,  even  if  other  companies  cannot.  In  fact,  in
2012,  the  issue  age  of  our  permanent  life  insurance  products  was  extended  to  age  80,  and  in
2014,  the  issue  age  of  our  term  insurance  was  extended  to  age  70.  Naturally,  your  health,
and  whether  or  not  you  smoke,  will  be  taken  into  consideration,  so  underwriting  standards
for  risk  and  age  apply.  But,  the  extensions  are  a  great  blessing  for  me  –  and  it  could  be  for
you  too.  Now  I  can  help  members  that  I  couldn’t  help  before.  Are  you  or  one  of  your  brother
knights  one  of  those  members?
Whether  you’re  18  or  80,  the  Knights  of  Columbus  has  products  that  will  work  for  you  and
your  family.  Contact  your  agent  to  discuss  coverage  options.

Prayer for the Canonization of Father Michael J. McGivney
God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan,
You called Your priest, Father Michael J. McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian
family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor.
Through the example of his life and virtue may we follow Your Son, Jesus Christ,
more closely, fulfilling His commandment of charity and building up His Body,
which is the Church. Let the inspiration of Your servant prompt us to greater
confidence in Your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy
and the outcast.
We humbly ask that you glorify Your servant, Father Michael J. McGivney, on
earth according to the design of Your holy will. Through his intercession, grant
the favor I now present (here make your request), through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Vocations

Heavenly Father, bless your Church with an abundance of holy and zealous
Priests, Deacons, Brothers, and Sisters. Give those you have called to the married
state and those you have chosen to live as single persons in the world, the special
graces that their lives require.
Form us all in the likeness of your Son, so that in Him, with Him, and through
Him, we may love You more deeply and serve You more faithfully, always and
everywhere. With Mary, we ask You, through Christ our Lord. Amen
