Lesson: The Color of Yellow

Unit Overview
Main Idea (Claim) Summative Assessment
God created the three primary colors, red, yellow
and blue, God also mixing all these colors for His
creation to look beautiful. Through all of these
colors, we can see that His symbolic significance
about God’s glory and His plan of redemption.
Through all these colors is also the symbolic of calm
or soothing in nature.

Guiding Questions Objectives (know/understand/do/value)


The student will be able to:
1. Do you remember the color of red?  Students will identify the color of yellow
2. Who know the color of yellow?  The students will be able to put the color of
yellow on the picture.

Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies


Beginning the Lesson
- Teacher will asks students: Do you remember the color of red?
- Teacher will review the last lesson ( the color of red)
Developing the Lesson
-Teacher will introduce a new color (yellow)
- Teacher will have three pictures of yellow color ( Sun, Banana and Lemon)
- Teacher will show these yellow picture one by one and the student will repeat.
- Teacher will call the students ‘name to come to the board and say the color of yellow on
these three pictures (Sun, Banana and Lemon).
- Teacher will give the students a picture and the students will color the picture with the
yellow picture (before lets the students do the coloring I will remind about how to hold
the color).
Closing the Lesson
The students will find everything in the classroom with the color of yellow.

Formative Assessment Differentiation

Teacher assesses students by asking come to the


board and say the color ad also observing students
the activities (do the coloring on the picture and the
find the yellow things in the classroom).
