Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies
5 mins Beginning the Lesson Teacher will review the last lessons which is from number 1 to number 7 Students will read together from number 1 to number 7. 15 mins Developing the Lesson Teacher will introduce a new number (8): “can you say number 8 friend?” Teacher will link the lesson with the biblical perspective ( all the numbers was made by God) Teacher will introduce number 8 by showing with a picture of number 8 “I name this picture, Miss number 8) in this picture there are also has 8 birds, so teacher will count that 8 birds together with the students. Teacher will show the students how does number 8 look like by drawing in the air. (friends lets we draw number 8 in the air) Teacher will ask the students “how many bird do you see in this picture?) Again, the teacher will has 8 picture of apples and also has the picture of the numbers from 1 to 8 and the teacher will put picture of apple one by one the board and also put the numbers one by one according the amount of the apple. After that the students will count from 1 to 8 again. Activity: the students will go to their table and the teacher will give each of the students with the blank paper which has 8 boxes and each of the students also will have the numbers from 1 to 8.
