INTRODUCTION
Translation is the process of turning an original or source text into a text in another
language. Translating from one language into another language is closely related to
linguistic. Translation theory derives from linguistic (the study of similarities and differences
between language, in particular the comparison of related languages with a view to
reconstructing forms in their lost parent languages) it is an aspect of semantic (the study of
the meaning of linguistic expression).
The context of translation process and end product, human translation contains many
definitions and interpretations. Professional translation experts view the majority of them as
meaning-based which is in lie with the age-old translation service tradition. Therefore, the
human translation process is viewed as a detached and isolated practice wherein the
professional translation agent has to handle textual material that contains all the information
needed to make sense of the overall message. However, reevaluating the definition of
translation in the modern context may be required in order to better understand its true
meaning.
The writer’s reason choose the translation because the writer interested about an
article of Indonesian island and Asian city . This topic purpose to know about the meaning of
sentences and how to improve vocabulary, because when translate a sentence we are already
