April is Autism Awareness Month!

“The eleventh annual World Autism Awareness Day is April 2, 2018.

Joined by the international community, hundreds of thousands of landmarks,
buildings, homes and communities around the world, light blue in recognition of
people living with autism. Autism-friendly events and educational activities take
place all month to increase understanding and acceptance and foster worldwide
support.”
Autism affects so many lives around us, especially the families and patients we
serve, so the month of April holds a very special place for us at KidsCare. Be sure

Spotlight: Around the KidsCare Office

Spotlight: Translator
Dafne Jasso
Translator: Waco & Temple

Dafne has been a life-saver for our Waco

Team. Being a more rural area, it is some-
times difficult to find and hire excellent
Therapists, let alone really great Translators!
We hit the Jack-Pot with Dafne! Our Lead
SLP in Waco, Staci Daniel, has sung her
praises many times! We are incredibly for-
tunate to have such an OUTSTANDING
Translator and such EXCEPTIONAL Thera-
pists on our Waco Team.

Dafne is a college student, but she will make herself readily available and work
within her and your schedule to get your translating done in a timely way.
Here’s a little bit about Dafne in her own words:
“I am a Senior at Baylor University. I am a first generation student! During
my free time I like to work out and go on walks with my dog, Jax. I’m the
oldest child of four children, and love my family very much.”
