Assists the RN Director in case managing Independent Living residents’ care plan
Inpatient care including administering prescribed medications and routine immunizations
Aseptic technique: sterile field preparation, urinary catheterization, tracheotomy care, sterile
dressing, sterile irrigation
NG tube placement and insertion, enema administration, suction of tracheotomy care,
suction/oxygen setup, wound care
Beside nursing: vital signs, glucose testing, specimen collection, intake and output, patient care, partial
and full baths
Leadership training including pre and post-op patient care and patient teaching prior to admission and
discharges
