Cup of Sanctification

“In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any
of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break
one of its bones. All the congregation of Israel shall
keep it. And when a stranger dwells with you and
wants to keep the Passover to the LORD, let all his
males be circumcised, and then let him come near
and keep it; and he shall be as a native of the land.
For no uncircumcised person shall eat it.”

—Exodus 12:46-48

“In Him you were also circumcised with the circum-
cision made without hands, by putting off the body
of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were
raised with Him through faith in the working of God,

flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having
forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the
handwriting of requirements that was against us,

 Parsley and Salt Water

Life in Egypt was a life of pain, suffering, and tears

which is represented by salt water. Let us take a
sprig of parsley and dip it into the salt water as
we remember that sometimes life is immersed
in tears.

1st Question:
Why is this night different from all other nights?

On all other nights we eat either leavened bread

or unleavened matzah. On this night, why do
we only eat matzah?

Don’t you know that a little yeast works through-

out the whole dough? Get rid of the old yeast
that you may be as new, fresh dough—as you
really are. For Messiah, our Passover Lamb, has
been sacrificed.

2nd Question:
On all other nights we eat all kinds of vegetables.
On this night why do we only eat bitter herbs?

As we partake of the matzah and the bitter herbs,

let us allow the bitter taste to cause us to shed
tears of compassion for the sorrow that our
ancestors knew thousands of years ago.

“Blessed are You, O Lord our God, Ruler of the

universe, who has set us apart by His Word and
commanded us to eat the bitter herbs.”

3rd Question:
On all other nights we do not dip our vegetables
even once. On this night why do we dip them
twice?

We dip the bitter herbs into the charoset

to remind ourselves that even the bitterest
circumstances can be sweetened by the hope
we have in God.

4th Question:
On all other nights we eat our meals sitting
or reclining. On this night why do we only eat
reclining?

Once we were slaves, but now we are free!

 Second Cup:
Cup of Plagues

This cup frees us from fear of all sickness, disease,

and disasters. The lamb shank reminds us of
His strength and the egg reminds us of the
sovereignty of the Almighty God.

10 plagues: blood, frogs, gnats, flies, livestock,

boils, hail, locust, darkness, death of the first-
born.

beginning of) for you, as our partners, as well
as for my family and myself, that our Passover
offerings this year will send a release like that
found in Exodus 23…

 PROMISE of DIVINE PROTECTION:

“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you

in the way and to bring you into the place which
I have prepared.” (vs. 20)

I decree and declare that you will have divine
protection over all of your family and business
affairs!

POSITIONING and ALIGNMENT

PROVIDES PROTECTION from YOUR ENEMIES:

“But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that

I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies
and an adversary to your adversaries.” (vs. 22)

alignment, and in the center of the Lord’s will!

“You shall not bow down to their gods, nor serve

them, nor do according to their works; but you

this year to walk in divine authority!

SUPERNATURAL HEALTH
and KINGDOM PROSPERITY:

“So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will
bless your bread and your water. And I will take
sickness away from the midst of you.” (vs. 25)

I decree and declare that you will walk in supernatural
health and Kingdom prosperity!

MULTIPLICATION and LONGEVITY:

“No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your

land; I will fulfill the number of your days.” (vs. 26)

I decree and declare that you are free from all
satanic witchcraft, false decrees and covenants,
curses, hexes, all Baal structures and curses that
lead to abortions of your spiritual assignments!

A GODLY RELEASE of FEAR

and RESPECT from YOUR ENEMIES:

“I will send My fear before you, I will cause

confusion among all the people to whom you
come, and will make all your enemies turn their
backs to you.” (vs. 27)

I decree and declare a release of the fear of the
Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom within you.
And I decree that your enemies will have a respect
of the Lord in you—that they would not touch the
Lord’s anointed in words, actions, or deeds!

THE LORD WILL DRIVE OUT YOUR ENEMIES:

“And I will send hornets before you, which

shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and
the Hittite from before you.” (vs. 28)

I decree and declare that the warring angels and
the heavenly hosts of Zion will be released from
Heaven to do spiritual warfare on your behalf
this year!

THE LORD WILL GIVE YOU DOMINION

and INCREASE YOUR INHERITANCE:

“Little by little I will drive them out from before

you, until you have increased, and you inherit
the land.” (vs. 30)

I decree and declare the release of your ability
to perceive and receive your dominion and your
inheritance this year!
