OBE: Franchise Analysis

This is an OBE task that will provide students the application of the concepts and principles
of Franchie Management.

Objectives
1. To analyze actual franchises
2. To present the analysis of an actual franchise
3. To simulate workplace situations of presenting franchise

Outputs:
1 analysis of national franchise per student

Contents of the Paper/ Presentation:

1. Profile of company – logo, founder, nature of business
2. Franchise Fee, Capital Requirements, and franchise agreement/ inclusions
3. Franchisee selection considerations
4. Analysis of franchisee selection considerations (FNW, GBE, SIE, FE, PBP, PI)

Guidelines
1. Futuring as a creative leaning activity. You were hired by a franchiser as business
consultant to present the franchise arrangements to prospective franchisees in the
Philippines.
2. Provide APA references for your paper.
3. Currencies should have an equivalent in Philippine pesos.
4. PPT slides should have apt visuals, readable texts and should indicate summarized
points. Do not copy-paste everything from the paper.
5. Use a projector during presentation.
6. Practice your presentation for spontaneity.
7. Presentation will be limited to 5 minutes.
8. Present only the 1 franchise with the most details.
9. Give a copy of your presentation.
10. One question may be asked.
11. Wear corporate attire.
12. A maximum of 8-9 students per batch will present.
13. The last two students in a batch to present are assigned as timer and clicker.
14. Comments will be given after all presenters have presented.
15. Best in Corporate Attire, Best in Content, and Best in Presentation will be recognized
after every batch.
