4. Installation of the sensor
The sensor should be placed at the highest feasible location, within the protection area of a
lightning air terminal and as far as possible from any element that could affect the electric field
(air terminals, antennas, elevators, etc).
Once the location is selected, the sensor should be installed with the following procedure:
1. Prepare the fixings for the anchorages 2. Fix the anchorages and the mast
with the distances of the figure

3. Pass the cable sensor through the mast. The circular connector has to come out at the upper
part of the mast. Place the sensor connecting the cable plug to the circular base of the sensor,
matching the connector tab with the slot.
4. Fix the sensor to the mast using the M8 screws, passing them through the mast holes.
Upon installing the sensor and starting the system for the first time, it is required to wait at least 2
hours for the signal to stabilize.

5. Installation of the console
ATSTORM V.02 operation console will be located inside a building, in an accessible place for its
control and configuration. It should be installed close to a 110~250V, 50~60 Hz power outlet.

The accessory AT-511: 3G Modem module provides the equipment with access to the internet
in locations where a wired connection is not available. Besides, it allows sending SMS to 4
recipients indicating the existing alarm level.
The modem can be configured using the console touchscreen. The parameters can be changed
in the third screen of the option “System configuration”.
1. Insert a SIM card that allows internet connection and sending SMS.
10
2. Connect the USB cable: insert the mini-USB plug into the modem and the other side into
the USB port at the console’s front panel. Connect the power supply into the RJ11 connector.
