The word may not be as common as its practice has been.

Every 9 out of 10 people

are suffering from this disease. They avoid difficult tasks and look for something else
which can please them. This habit of delaying everything or doing less important
tasks prior to the important tasks can be widely seen, more often among
youths. Thanks to the hundreds of distractions available nowadays. Facebook,
WhatsApp, other social media, online gaming etc are some of the distractions giving
food to procrastination. It is found that the closer people are to the temptation of fun,
the more likely they are to indulge.

The question is ‘IS there any solution to Procrastination?’ Yes, the solution lies on
how people prioritize their work and do they see any value in doing more important
tasks first? If yes, at what extent? If doing the more important task seems difficult,
one should break the tasks into parts and accomplish one at a time.
