Children will independently practice planning for their creative, imaginative and Journals
innovative ideas in their journals. They will journal about an idea they have that they
want to begin as a project in the classroom (or outside of) and then share it with me. Art Materials
They can begin immediately or take some time to reflect on their plan and start another
day.

During choice/project time during the next few days I’ll be checking in with each child
about their journal entries of their imaginative and creative ideas and how they’ve done
executing them in the classroom during choice/project time. For any students
struggling I’ll be sure to spend more time with them to keep them on track.
