SOP - HOW TO APPLY FOR AN INDIAN CDC – ONLINE (UNDER DGS WEBSITE)

Step 1 - Use the below link to access the DGS Website using FIREFOX browser only. It will take
you to the below screenshot, to allow you to apply for your Indian CDC. Use your INDoS
number as your User Id and your Password as INDoS1. FOR EXAMPLE - (User Id –16ZL1280 &
Password: 16ZL12801)

Step 2 - Please make sure that your Seafarer profile is accurately updated before you proceed
with the application of your Indian CDC

Step 3 - Follow the next screen shot and select Nautical from the drop down menu as your
option, update your physical details as indicated below SELECT - Nautical from
the drop down menu

Step 4 – Update “Educational Details” as indicated below. Select from available option below

Once you click ‘Add’ your educational details will be updated as shown below

Please Note: This completes your Seafarer profile requirement. ** DO NOT CLICK ON NEXT **
Step 5 - GO TO ‘Main Menu’ (Your Seafarer profile will be automatically saved)

Step 6 – Now you can start your online CDC application by clicking on
‘CDC Management & COC as Cook’
Step 7 – First click on ‘Submit’ & then click on ‘Fresh CDC (Form A)’

Step 8 – Click on all the 8 options colored in ‘BLUE’ indicated below and update every required
field marked with (*) asterisk
