INTRODUCTION
There are lots of researches conducted by the scholars and the researchers regarding the peer
support and scaffolding in the classroom which could help the students in acquiring and learning
their second language. Most of the researches had come out with the results and findings that this
approach could be one of the effective approaches to be used in the English language classroom.
Therefore, we feel that this Peer Support and Scaffolding programme will benefit the students
especially the Linus 2.0 students
OBJECTIVES
to help the Linus 2.0 students to upgrade and improve themselves
to enhance the students’ social skills
to encourange communication skills among the students.
PROGRAMME’S DETAILS
DURATION : Will be based on the necessities and suitability of the lesson
DATE : Throughout the year
PARTICIPANTS
All Linus 2.0 Students and the selected students who possessed the higher level of proficiency as
the “scaffolders“. There were several students who had been selected to be as the “scaffolders”
in helping to improve their friends and at the same time upgrading themselves indirectly. Those”
scaffolders” were from the year 1,2 and 3. The rest of the Linus 2.0 students from other class were
supervised by their English teachers since there were lack of students who were capable to be the
“scaffolders”.
