Activity -The students will create flashcards on the Quizlet
app to help them learn and memorize amendments
from 1-27 in class, using their textbook or the
government’s website as their source.
-The students will then be able to go home and
study their flash cards.
-Proof of their flash cards will be their homework
grade.
-The students then will take a quiz the next week. If
they get 100% they don’t have to take it again the
following week.
-Students will take this quiz once a week until they
get a 100%.

the federal system described in the
Constitution of the United States by
d) examining the ongoing debate that
focuses on the balance of power between
state and national governments.
- During the day, I will teach the students the
division of powers between the State and National
Government.
-Each student, when they go home, will need to log
onto their Edmodo App.
-Two students will start two separate discussions in
a group message. One being State Government
powers, the other being National Government
powers.
- The class will then start a discussion underneath
the group message, putting examples of what each
Government has the power to do (what they
learned in class that day).
- If someone is wrong and a student sees it, they
should try to correct them. This correction will be
marked as extra credit.

“attendance” in the discussion, and will be graded
as a homework grade.
