It is always a pleasure to remind the fine people in the University Kuala Lumpur MITEC for
their sincere guidance I received to uphold my practical as well as work skills in Industrial
Logistics.

First of all, thanks to my parent for giving encouragement, enthusiasm and invaluable assistance
to me. Without all this, I might not be able to complete this subject properly.

Second, I would like to thanks to Dr. Sairul Izwan Safie, Deputy Dean and Head of Campus for
give us the opportunity to undergo industrial training. He also gives me their guidance and
support.

Thirdly, I also want to express my deepest thanks to Mr. Muhammad Nazif Hamzah and Mr.
Fadzali as industry training advisory for Industrial Logistics Department that has helped me a lot
in dealing with industrial training placement. He had supported to me by showing different
method of information collection about the University. He helped all time when we needed and
he gave right direction toward completion of project.

Besides, I would like to thank Mrs. Syuhadah (Head and Senior Executive of Business
Development), Mrs. Fauziah, Mrs. Siti, (Billing Crews) from the Forwarding Department for
extending their friendship towards me and making a pleasure-training environment in Integrated
Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd.

Finally I’m apologize all other unnamed who helped me in various ways to have a good training.

 ABSTRACT

This report is display a process of real life work experince in supply chain industry. It contains
the company profile of Integrated Logistics Solutions Sdn Bhd (PK). ILS is a company that
providing logistics services since 1973. Among the core activities that offered by the company
include warehousing, haulage, forwarding and also distribution by transportation.

There are 9 branches in total located along the Malaysian west coast. 3 in Klang Valley (Shah
Alam HQ, Subang Jaya,Port Klang), two of them are in southern part of the country (Tebrau &
Pasir Gudang) and the rest are actively operating on the north (Alor Setar, Seberang Perai, Ipoh).
There's also a subsidiary branch located in Singapore,ILS Global Pte Ltd.

ILS has a strong place in the logistics industry both locally and at international level as most of
the clients that use ILS services are big name companies in various fields.

This 44 years old company possesing large assets that are efficiently utilized to achive their
primary vision, 'To be the premier logistics service provider'. With the strength of over 500
active staffs nationwide, ILS is able to strive for sevice excellence and also provide effectiveness
for the client through empowerment of the people, process efficiency and system reliability.

Fully armed with 59 trucks, 96 prime movers and 590 trailers of various sizes, ILS also own 12
warehouses with total of storage area of 1.74 million square ft. that are always ready to serve
with maximum capability in order to be the top premier logistics company.
