ACTIVITY: Sensory Play with sand and sea animals Ages 3-4

Playing with sand and sea animals basically develops a child’s social skills and such
activity plays a building block in their early stage of social growth.

I chose this activity because it is a good foundation to enhance children’s locomotive

skills such as freely digging and scooping the sand in a childlike but fun way. This activity might
be common to children but this is the most fundamental experience that would show their
innocence and freedom to be kids and at the same time learn to coordinate using the sea animals,
tools and share while doing what they like.

OUTCOME: This activity helps a child to be responsible as he has the control on how he
wanted to manipulate the sand and trowel in the sense that he would formulate things that comes
through his mind, in that case, we would be able to know what they actually perceivea
