ES ERIK STEVENS

OBJECTIVE
I wish to become a history teacher at the secondary level teaching either
world history or U.S history. I would also like to coach on a football team,
but most of all be a role model to kids. I wish to make a difference in kid’s
lives and make a positive impact in their lives.

SKILLS & ABILITIES


I learn skills extremely quickly, and absorb all information that is given to
me. I am trustworthy and am consistent with all tasks I am asked to do.

EXPERIENCE

Lot Attendant • Rodeo Ford • July/2013-July/2016


As a lot attendant, my responsibility was to make sure customers were
greeted and were made welcome at the car dealership, along with
moving customer’s vehicles to a safe location on the dealership. I also
washed the customer’s car if requested and drove a shuttle vehicle to
take them home if requested.
Internship • Wigwam Creek Middle School • March/2016-
April/2016
As a requirement for the EDU222 course at Estrella Mountain Community
College, the students were required to complete 30 hours of an internship.
My placement was at Wigwam Creek Middle School in the Litchfield
Elementary School District. I was placed in an 8th grade science
classroom.

DECEMBER/2016
As a requirement for the EDU220 course at Estrella Mountain Community
College, the students were required to complete 20 hours of an internship.
My placement was at Avondale Middle School in the Avondale
Elementary School District. I was to aid in an afterschool athletic program
that a select number of students from grades 7th-8th were attending.

JANUARY/2017-APRIL/2017
As a requirement for the SED 396 course at Arizona State University, the
students are required to complete 75 hours and 3 instructional activates
throughout the internship. My placement was at Desert Meadows
Elementary School in the Laveen Elementary School District. I was placed
into an 8th grade history classroom. While there, I led an entire day of
instruction as well as proctor a Socratic Seminar and manage a station for
a lesson.

DECEMBER/2017
As a requirement for the SED 397 course at Arizona State University, the
students are required to complete 75 hours and 6 instructional activates
throughout the internship. My placement was at Desert Edge High School
in the Agua Fria Union High School District. I was placed into an
AZ/American History course with 11th graders. While there, I led 2 entire
days of instruction with 2 different topics. The first day of instruction was
about the Oregon Trail and the other was about The Battle of Gettysburg.

COMMUNICATION
I volunteered for a junior high tackle football team known as the Arizona
Knights for the Arizona Youth Football League for 2 seasons. The first season
I was the Offensive Line coach and the second season I was the Defensive
Coordinator. I volunteered my time managing a carnival game at an
event at Estrella Mountain Community College for homeless families in a
shelter where we gave them food baskets and clothes for Thanksgiving of
2016.
