Assessment Plan – What did students learn? How do you know?


Verbal Assessment: Students will be saying the creed throughout the class period. I will be
able to hear and see if each student is memorizing the creed based on how much they have
memorized. They began the class period without any knowledge of what the creed says, so if
they memorize a couple sentences I will be able to tell their growth.

Differentiation:
For students struggling to memorize the creed I will stick them in a group and have those
excelling in another group. Those struggling I will walk through the creed and break it down
sentence by sentence. I will say a sentence and then have them repeat 2-3 times. I will then
move onto the next sentence and have them say that 2-3 times. They will then add on the first
sentence to the second sentence and then add on the third sentence until they have the creed
memorized.
