MARKET WRAP
The move we got yesterday was much more than what most had imagined it
would be. A better open was expected but the kind of acceleration that the market
Inside this issue: witnessed later in the day was quite something. Fed by Banks and with laggards
like RIL, Ongc joining in, the prices flew thru the roof to create a nice long range

bar. The ranges of the last two sessions have been pretty long. Typically, ending
phases are characterized by such moves. The move has pierced thru the Bollinger
band on the topside for two successive sessions now and that puts the bias in fa-
Mid Cap Buzz 3 vor of bulls. Until we see the volatility shrink and the prices start trading within the
bands once again, we cannot really think of any topping. This does not mean we
cannot have a down day- that is entirely possible and can happen without making
Day Trading Table 4 any change to the sentiment. In fact looking at the options data it does appear
that we may have seen some topping action for the week. In addition, the TCD of
10th Sept can be effective either a day earlier or a day later. It seemed like Friday
was a nice high but yesterday's surge was a classic bearish capitulation. so lets not
get swayed by the kind of moves that we have seen. However, to call for a bearish
reversal based on this evidence would be totally premature. Hence we have to
consider those aspects only later and a little lower. Some may argue that it should
not be thus. The only answer to such feelings is that it does not belong in the mar-
ket- it belongs in dreams!

The attached chart shows the 60 min NF chart with the RSI. It is obvious that the
new high in prices also see a new high in momentum. Hence this is not the end of
the move. Any pullback here will also be succeeded by another round of rise. So
no reason to panic if there is any pullback. But if the rise continues beyond the
day's highs, then one should continue to trade long despite the fears of heights.

Recommendations in this section are expected to achieve their targets in one to three months.

Entry Stop Target

Buy above 195-196 & dips to190 Below 10 points 214-215/235-36

This transport counter has been in a declining trend for the past 7-8 months. During that period
descending trend line (purple line) had proved to be a strong resistance. This week witnessed
this counter bounce back smartly and break the cluster of resistances in the form of aforesaid
trend line as well as 190 (38.2% retracement of falling leg from 59 in March’09) and 65 period
EMA. This power packed up move led Oscillators (both RSI & Stochastic) to turn up from near
oversold region signaling strength building up here. DI lines too have widened afresh with posi-
tive line dominance maintained. Volumes too have expanded aggressively indicating bulls are
preparing to get back into this counter. With everything hinting for trend revival here, one can
look to go for short term investment at above said levels.
