ABSTRACT
The effectiveness of teaching Araling Panlipunan has always been a challenge due
to the continuous changing world. In the education system, the demand for teaching
competencies is greater than ever. This demand call for innovative action by every teacher.
This study basically dealt with developing a Supplemental Activity- based World History
Module based on the existing World History Module. It sought answers to the following:
(1) the activities found in the existing module in World History that are least and not
effective; (2) the reasons for the activities in the existing World History Module to be found
least effective and not effective; (3) An Activity-based World History Module that can be
developed; (4) The level of acceptability of the developed Activity- based World History
(15) World History teachers who were purposively chosen in identifying the least effective
and not effective activities in the existing World History Module and assessing the level of

Based on the gathered data, the following findings and conclusions were derived:
One hundred ten (110) activities were subject for revision based on the evaluation of fifteen
(15) World History teachers. Five (5) activities were considered not constructive, ninety-
seven (97) activities as not interactive, another five (5) activities as not reflective, and three
acceptable after obtaining the grand WAM of 3.83. The following indicators obtained the
attractiveness with 3.92, and self-involvement with 3.71. All indicators obtained a verbal
For the Araling Panlipunan teachers, the utilization of the developed module is
recommended to enhance their instructional delivery through the varied learning activities.
Similarly, for the students, they are recommended to show cooperation during the delivery
of the instructions through the utilization of the developed module in World History.
Moreover, for the school administrators, they are recommended to consider the utilization
of the developed World History Module and continuously support the teachers in the
delivery of quality instruction through relevant trainings to the utilization of the module.
