Dear Teams

Greetings from Mahindra BAJA SAEINDIA 2018!!

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your efforts and commitment towards BAJA SAEINDIA 2018. As we enter
the final leg of the competition, I would like to remind you of certain things that you need to keep in mind while coming
for the main event at NATRiP, Pithampur:

1) Go through the Slotting released on forum for Registration, Technical, Design, Sales Evaluation. Reach the evaluation
spot 30 min prior to the allotted time to avoid delay.
2) Carry all the relevant documents required for different evaluations to ease the entire process.
3) The teams need to plan well and distribute the team members wisely between different evaluations taking place at
the same time to avoid any delay in the process.
4) The list of defaulters released on forum for Design and Cost Evaluation will not be evaluated/scored for the
respective events. Though, for design, the defaulter teams will receive feedback from the judges as per the allotted
slots. This decision is final as per the BAJA OC. No requests/special cases will be entertained in this regard. The teams
can refer the Clause C3.8.2 and C4.2.7 in BAJA SAEINDIA 2018 Rulebook for the same.
5) As per the Rulebook, the deadline mentioned for the Submission of Cost and Design Docket was 20 th December 2017
which was changed to 29th December 2017.The extension in deadline from 29th December to 5thJanuary was given to
the teams keeping in mind the exam schedule of the Universities. Teams need to appreciate that the extension was
given keeping teams in perspective.
6) The teams are expected to exhibit a spirit of sportsmanship during the entire event flow.
