VERIFICATION 5 PROCEDURES VP - 29 HSSL Comm 5 - 94

CELL-DYN 3000/3500 ONLY
(For CELL-DYN 3700 see previous page)
1. Make sure the Analyzer is ON./
2. Make sure Data Station power is OFF.
3. Insert Service Disc
(CELL-DYN 3000 = 93168-01 Rev E)
(CELL-DYN 3500 = 9381023 Rev A or
higher).
4. Turn ON Data Station.
5. At the A> prompt, type "hsslcom", then
↵ENTER.
6. Press
_ F1 key to download a program.
7. Type
For CELL-DYN 3000 "C:\cd3000\cd3000".
For CELL-DYN 3500 Rev F or lower
"C:\cd3000\cd3000A"
For CELL-DYN 3500 Rev G or higher
"C:\cd3000\cd3500".
↵ENTER.
8. When downloading is complete, choose
appropriate designation:
"sample loader" or "closed system".
9. Download "sample loader"
a. Type:
"OKS (ZERO-UPPER CASE KS), then
↵ENTER.
b. To verify programming type:
OK (ZERO-UPPER CASE K), then
↵ENTER.
c. The instrument will display "SKS".
10.Download "closed system"
a. Type:
"OKC (ZERO-UPPER CASE KC), then
↵ENTER.
b. To verify programming type:
OK (ZERO-UPPER CASE K), then
↵ENTER.
c. The instrument will display "SKC", and
a right facing dashed arrow symbol will
appear.
11. Remove the Service Disc.

12.Turn Analyzer and Data Station OFF.

13.To return to normal operation, reboot
according to normal startup procedures
