‫علَی ۡال ُم ۡؤ ِمنِ ۡي َن اِ ۡذ بَعَ َ‬

‫ث فِ ۡي ِہ ۡم‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ّٰللاُ‬
‫ہ‬ ‫لَقَ ۡد َم َّن‬
‫علَ ۡي ِہ ۡم ٰا ٰی ِت ٖہ َو‬
‫ا َ ۡنفُ ِس ِہ ۡم یَ ۡتلُ ۡوا َ‬ ‫ِم ۡن‬ ‫س ۡو اًل‬
‫َر ُ‬

‫ب َو ۡال ِح ۡک َم َۃ ۚ َو اِ ۡن‬ َ ‫ت‬ٰ ‫ک‬

ِ ۡ
‫ال‬ ‫یُزَ ِک ۡي ِہ ۡم َو یُعَ ِل ُم ُہ ُم‬
‫۝‬ ‫ض ٰل ٍل ُّم ِب ۡي ٍن‬
َ ‫کَانُ ۡوا ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ُل لَ ِف ۡی‬
Indeed Allah conferred a great favor on the believers that He
raised among them from among themselves (the most
eminent) Messenger‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) who
recites to them His Revelations, purifies them and educates
them on the Book and Wisdom though, before (this event of
the Prophet’s majestic/priviliged arrival) they were surely in
manifest error.

Al-Imran 03:164

‫و احسن منك لم تر قط عيني‬

‫و اجمل منك لم تلد النسآء‬

Mercies, Blessings) on Your Beloved ‫ ﷺ‬who is the best of all creatures
Muhemmed ‫ ﷺ‬is the master of both the worlds, the creatures, the Arabs and the
rest of the world ۞

May ALMIGHTY ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬send the best greetings, salutations, blessings on

him ‫ ﷺ‬his family and his companions ‫رضى هللا عنهم اجمعين‬

FOREWORD
ALMIGHTY ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬by His enormous Mercy and Wisdom established the sacred institution of
Prophethood in order to guide His creation towards the right path and, therefore, made all the Prophets
a miraculous emblem of His Grandeur, Benevolence and Might. So, believing in prophethood as a divine
source of enlightenment and putting faith in all the prophets is an inevitable phenomenon of acquiring
true faith.

َ َ‫فَالَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا بِ ٖہ َو َع َّز ُر ۡوہُ َو ن‬

ۡۤۡ ‫ص ُر ۡوہُ َو اتَّبَعُوا النُّ ۡو َر الَّذ‬
ۙ ‫ِی ا ُ ۡن ِز َل َمعَ ۤۡہ‬
َ‫ک ہ ُ ُم ۡال ُم ۡف ِل ُح ۡون‬ ٰٓ ٰ ُ ‫ا‬
َ ِ‫ولئ‬
So those who will believe in this (most exalted Messenger) and will venerate and revere him and serve
and support him (in his Din [Religion]) and follow the light (the Qur’an) that has been sent down with
him, it is they who will flourish and prosper.

Al-Araf 07:157

TWO DIMENSIONS OF THE PROPHET’S ‫ ﷺ‬STATURE

There are two perspectives of Prophethood: one of superiority (Al Fadeelah ‫ )الفضيلة‬and the other of
sublimity (Al Mithliyah ‫)المثلية‬.
The superior stature of a prophet makes the personage conspicuous, unique and peerless amongst the
people, whereas the similar and homogenous stature of a prophet teaches humanistic traits and
characteristics. Prophethood or Messengerhood is furnished with both the potentialities and qualities.

THE QUR’ANIC PRINCIPLE ON BI-DIMENSIONAL EXPOSURE OF THE

PROPHETHOOD

‫ک ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ِل‬ َ ‫ت ت َعۡ لَ ُم َہ ۤۡا اَ ۡن‬

َ ‫ت َو ًَل قَ ۡو ُم‬ َ ‫ک ۚ َما ُک ۡن‬َ ‫ب نُ ۡو ِح ۡي َہ ۤۡا اِلَ ۡي‬ ِ ‫ک ِم ۡن اَ ۡۢۡن َبا ٰٓ ِء ۡالغ َۡي‬
َ ‫تِ ۡل‬
َ‫ٰہذَاؕۛ فَاصۡ ِب ۡرؕۛ ا َِّن ۡال َعاقِ َب َۃ ِل ۡل ُمت َّ ِق ۡين‬
This (narration) is of the accounts of the unseen that We reveal to you. Neither you nor your people
knew them before this. So observe patience. Surely it is the God-fearing with whom it ends well.

Al-Hud 11:49

َّ َ‫ع َۃ ا ًَِّل َم ِن ات َّ َخذَ ِع ۡند‬

‫الر ۡحمٰ ِن َعہۡ داا‬ ُ ‫ًَل َیمۡ ِل‬
َّ ‫ک ۡونَ ال‬
َ ‫شفَا‬
(On that Day) people will not possess the authority to intercede except those who have taken a promise
(of intercession) from the Most Kind (Lord).

Al-Maryam 19:87
‫ِی یَ ۡشفَ ُع ِع ۡندَ ۤۡہ ا ًَِّل بِا ِۡذنِ ٖہ‬
ۡ ‫َم ۡن ذَا الَّذ‬
Who can dare intercede with Him except by His permission!

Al-Baqrah 02: 255

ِ ‫ک ۡم ِا ٰل ٌہ َّو‬
ُ ‫ی اَنَّ َم ۤۡا اِ ٰلـ ُہ‬ ۡۤ ُ ُ‫قُ ۡل اِنَّ َم ۤۡا ا َنَا بَش ٌَر ِم ۡثل‬
ٌ‫احد‬ َّ َ‫ک ۡم یُ ۡوحٰ ی اِل‬
Say: ‘I look like you only (by virtue of my visible creation) as a man. (Otherwise just think what congruity
you have with me.) It is I to whom the Revelation that your God is the One and only God is transmitted.
(And just see to it whether you have any such divine potential that the Word of Allah may come down to
you.)

Al-Kahf 18: 110

َ‫عد ٌُّو ا ًَِّل ۡال ُمت َّ ِق ۡين‬ ٍ ۡ‫ض ُہ ۡم ِل َبع‬
َ ‫ض‬ ٰٓ َّ ‫اَ ًۡلَ ِخ‬
ُ ۡ‫َّل ُء َی ۡو َم ِئ ٍۭ ٍذ َبع‬
On that Day, all friends and acquaintances will become enemies to one another except the pious. (Only
their friendship and nearness [wilayah] will prove fruitful.)

Al-Zukhruf 43:67

FIVE DIFFERENT GROUPS MENTIONED IN THE HOLY QUR’AN IN

CONNECTION OF COGNIZANCE OF PROPHETHOOD

I. The Infidels (‫)الكافرين‬

II. The Polytheists (‫)المشركين‬
III. The Hypocrites (‫)مذبذبين‬
IV. The Blasphemers (‫)مداحنين‬
V. The True Believers (‫)المؤمنين‬

I. The Infidels (‫)الكافرين‬

‫قَا َل لَ ۡم ا َ ُک ۡن ًِلَ ۡس ُجدَ ِلبَش ٍَر‬
(Iblis) replied: I cannot be the one who should fall down prostrate before a human being.

Al-Hijr 15:33
َ‫فَقَالُ ۡۤۡوا اَنُ ۡؤ ِم ُن ِلبَش ََر ۡی ِن ِم ۡث ِلنَا َو قَ ۡو ُم ُہ َما لَنَا ٰع ِبد ُۡون‬
So they (also) said (the same): Shall we believe in two human beings like ourselves while their people
worship us?

Al-Mo’minoon 23:47
ُ ُ‫َما ٰہذَ ۤۡا ا ًَِّل بَش ٌَر ِم ۡثل‬
ُ ‫ک ۡم ۙ َی ۡا ُک ُل ِم َّما تَ ۡا ُکلُ ۡونَ ِم ۡنہُ َو َی ۡش َر‬
َ‫ب ِم َّما تَ ۡش َربُ ۡون‬
(They said to the people): He is only a human being like you. He eats what you eat and drinks what you
drink.

Al-Mo’minoon 23:33

ُ ُ‫فَقَا َل ۡال َملَؤُا الَّذ ِۡینَ َکفَ ُر ۡوا ِم ۡن قَ ۡو ِم ٖہ َما ٰہذَ ۤۡا ا ًَِّل َبش ٌَر ِم ۡثل‬
‫ک ۡم‬
Then the chiefs (and the lords) of his people who disbelieved said: This man is just a human being like
you (nothing else).

Al-Mo’minoon 23:24

‫ت ا ًَِّل بَش ٌَر ِم ۡثلُنَا‬

َ ‫َو َم ۤۡا اَ ۡن‬
And you are but a human being like us.

Al-Shu’ra 26:186
‫ض ٰل ٍل َّو‬
َ ‫احداا نَّتَّبِعُ ۤۡہ ۙ اِنَّ ۤۡا اِذاا لَّ ِف ۡی‬
ِ ‫ فَقَالُ ۡۤۡوا اَبَش اَرا ِمنَّا َو‬- ‫َکذَّبَ ۡت ثَ ُم ۡودُ بِالنُّذُ ِر‬
‫سعُر‬ ُ

(The people of) Thamud also rejected the Warning Messengers. So they said: ‘Are we to follow a human
being who is one of us? Then we shall certainly run into error and insanity.

Al-Qamar 54:23,24

ِ ‫سلُ ُہ ۡم ِب ۡالبَ ِي ٰن‬

‫ت فَقَالُ ۡۤۡوا اَبَش ٌَر یَّہۡ د ُۡونَنَا ۫ فَ َکفَ ُر ۡوا َو تَ َولَّ ۡوا‬ ُ ‫ک ِباَنَّہ کَان َۡت ت َّ ۡاتِ ۡي ِہ ۡم ُر‬
َ ‫ٰذ ِل‬
ٌ‫ی َح ِم ۡيد‬ َ ُ‫ّٰللا‬
ٌّ ِ‫غن‬ ‫استَ ۡغنَی ہ‬
‫ّٰللاُؕ َو ہ‬ ۡ ‫َّو‬
That is because their Messengers brought them clear signs, but they said: ‘Shall a human being (who is
our like and from our kind) guide us?’ So they became disbelievers and turned away (from the truth).
And ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬too disregarded (them) and ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬is Self-Sufficient, Praiseworthy.

Al-Tughabun 64:06

‫قَالُ ۡۤۡوا ا ِۡن اَ ۡنت ُ ۡم ا ًَِّل بَش ٌَر ِم ۡثلُنَا‬

They (the disbelievers) said: ‘You are but a human beings like us.’

Ibrahȋm 14:10
ُ ُ‫ہ َ ۡل ٰہذَ ۤۡا ا ًَِّل َبش ٌَر ِم ۡثل‬
‫ک ۡم‬
He is but a human being like you.

Al-Anbiya 21:03

II. The Polytheists (‫)المشركين‬

‫ت النَّصٰ َری ۡال َمس ِۡي ُح ۡاب ُن ہ‬
ِ‫ّٰللا‬ ِ َ‫ّٰللاِ َو قَال‬ ُ ُ‫ت ۡاليَ ُہ ۡود‬
‫عزَ ۡی ُر ۡاب ُن ہ‬ ِ َ‫َو قَال‬
And the Jews said: ‘‘Uzayr (Ezra) is the son of Allah,’ and the Christians said: ‘The Messiah is the son of
Allah.’

Al-Taubah 09:30

III. The Hypocrites (‫)مذبذبين‬

َ‫ت ۡال ُم ٰن ِف ِق ۡين‬
َ ‫س ۡو ِل َرا َ ۡی‬ ‫َو اِذَا قِ ۡي َل لَ ُہ ۡم تَ َعالَ ۡوا ا ِٰلی َم ۤۡا اَ ۡنزَ َل ہ‬
َّ ‫ّٰللاُ َو اِلَی‬
ُ ‫الر‬
‫صد ُۡوداا‬ُ ‫ک‬ َ ‫ع ۡن‬ َ َ‫صد ُّۡون‬ ُ َ‫ی‬
And when they are asked to come to what Allah has revealed (the Qur’an) and to the Messenger
(blessings and peace be upon him), you will see that the hypocrites turn away from (coming towards)
you.

Al-Nisa 04:61

ٰٓ َ ‫ًُل ِء َو َ ًۤۡل ا ِٰلی ٰۤۡہؤ‬

‫ًُل ِء‬ ٰٓ َ ‫ک ٭ۖ َ ًۤۡل ا ِٰلی ٰۤۡہؤ‬
َ ‫ُّمذَ ۡبذَ ِب ۡينَ َب ۡينَ ٰذ ِل‬
Confounded between (belief and disbelief), they belong neither to (the disbelievers) nor to (the
believers).

Al-Nisa 04:143

َ ‫ّٰللاِ لَ َّو ۡوا ُر ُء ۡو‬

‫س ُہ ۡم َو َراَ ۡیتَ ُہ ۡم‬ ‫س ۡو ُل ہ‬ ُ َ‫َو اِذَا قِ ۡي َل لَ ُہ ۡم تَ َعالَ ۡوا َی ۡستَ ۡغ ِف ۡر ل‬
ُ ‫ک ۡم َر‬
َۛ ‫صد ُّۡونَ َو ہ ُ ۡم ُّم ۡست َ ۡکبِ ُر ۡون‬
ُ َ‫ی‬
And when it is said to them: ‘Come so that ALLAH’S ‫ ﷻ‬Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬may seek forgiveness for you’, these
(hypocrites) jerk their heads aside (insolently) and you see them keeping away (from your presence) in
arrogance.

IV. The Blasphemers (‫)مداحنين‬

َ ُ‫ع ۡونَ ا َّ ًِۤۡل اَ ۡنف‬
َ‫س ُہ ۡم َو َما َی ۡشعُ ُر ۡون‬ ُ َ‫ّٰللاَ َو الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا ۚ َو َما َی ۡخد‬ ُ ‫یُ ٰخ ِد‬
‫ع ۡونَ ہ‬
They seek to deceive ALLAH ‫( ﷻ‬i.e. the Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬because here َ‫ّٰللا‬ ‫ ی ُٰخ ِدع ُۡونَ ہ‬denotes َ‫ّٰللا‬
‫) ی ُٰخ ِدع ُۡونَ رسول ہ‬
and the believers, but (in fact) they deceive (only) themselves and they are not aware of it.

Al-Baqrah 02:09
َ‫اب اَ ِل ۡي ۢۡ ٌم ۙ۬ۛ ِب َما کَانُ ۡوا َی ۡک ِذبُ ۡون‬ َ ‫ضا ۚ َو لَ ُہ ۡم‬
ٌ َ‫عذ‬ ٌ ‫ِف ۡی قُلُ ۡو ِب ِہ ۡم َّم َر‬
‫ض ۙ فَزَ ادَہ ُ ُم ہ‬
‫ّٰللاُ َم َر ا‬
In their hearts is a disease. So, ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬has worsened their disease. For them there is a painful
punishment because they used to tell lies.

Al-Baqrah 02:10

ُ ‫ار َو ٰل ِک ۡن ت َعۡ َمی ۡالقُلُ ۡو‬

ُّ ‫ب الَّتِ ۡی فِی ال‬
‫صد ُۡو ِر‬ ُ ‫ص‬َ ‫فَ ِانَّ َہا ًَل تَعۡ َمی ۡاًلَ ۡب‬
So the fact is that it is not the eyes (of such people) that are blind, but the hearts turn blind which are in
the breasts.

Al-Haj 22:46
ُ ‫ئ بِ ِہ ۡم َو یَ ُمدُّہ ُ ۡم فِ ۡی‬
َ‫ط ۡغيَانِ ِہ ۡم یَعۡ َم ُہ ۡون‬ ‫َہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاُ یَ ۡستَہۡ ِز‬
ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬punishes them for their mockery and lets them loose (so that they may meet their fate). And
they are wandering blindly in their transgression.

Al-Baqrah 02:15

V. The True Believers (‫)المؤمنين‬

ِ ‫َو ۡاذ ُک ۡر فِی ۡال ِک ٰت‬
ِ َ‫ب ا ِۡب ٰرہِ ۡي َم ؕ۬ۛ اِنَّہ َکان‬
‫صد ِۡیقاا نَّبِيًّا‬
And recite the account of Ibrahim (Abraham) in the Book (the Holy Qur’an). Surely he was a Prophet
blessed with truthfulness.

Al-Maryam 19:41
‫س ۡو اًل نَّ ِبيًّا‬ ‫ب ُم ۡوسٰۤۡ ی ۫ اِنَّہ َکانَ ُم ۡخلَ ا‬
ُ ‫صا َّو َکانَ َر‬ ِ ‫َو ۡاذ ُک ۡر فِی ۡال ِک ٰت‬

And recite the account of Musa (Moses) in (this Holy) Book. Surely, (getting rid of the grip of self,) he
had become exalted and was a Messenger and Prophet.

Al-Maryam 19:51

ُ ‫صادِقَ ۡال َو ۡع ِد َو َکانَ َر‬

َ‫س ۡو اًل نَّبِيًّا َو َکان‬ ِ ‫َو ۡاذ ُک ۡر فِی ۡال ِک ٰت‬
َ َ‫ب ا ِۡسمٰ ِع ۡي َل ۫ اِنَّہ َکان‬
َّ ‫ص ٰلو ِۃ َو‬
ِ ‫الز ٰکو ِۃ ۪ َو َکانَ ِع ۡندَ َر ِب ٖہ َم ۡر‬
‫ضيًّا‬ َّ ‫َی ۡا ُم ُر اَ ۡہلَہ ِبال‬
And recite the account of Isma‘il (Ishmael) in (this) Book. Surely he was true to (his) promise and was a
Messenger and Prophet. And he used to enjoin on his family Prayer and Zakat (the Alms-due) and (held)
the station of Mardiyya in the Presence of his Lord (i.e. his Lord was well pleased with him).

Al-Maryam 19: 54, 55

َ ‫صد ِۡیقاا نَّبِيًّا َّو َرفَعۡ ٰنہُ َمکَاناا‬

‫ع ِليًّا‬ ِ ‫َو ۡاذ ُک ۡر فِی ۡال ِک ٰت‬
َ ‫ب ا ِۡد ِر ۡی‬
ِ َ‫س ۫ اِنَّہ َکان‬
And mention in the Book the account of Idris. Verily he was a Prophet possessing the Truth. And We
raised him to a lofty station.

Al-Maryam 19: 56, 57

َ‫َو ُک ًَّّل َجعَ ۡلنَا صٰ ِل ِح ۡين‬
And we made all of them pious.

Al-Anbiya 21:72
ٍ ٰ‫ع ٰلی قَ ۡو ِم ٖہؕ ن َۡرفَ ُع دَ َرج‬
َ َّ‫ت َّم ۡن ن‬
َ َّ‫شا ٰٓ ُءؕ ا َِّن َرب‬
‫ک‬ َ ‫ک ُح َّجتُن َۤۡا ٰات َ ۡي ٰن َہ ۤۡا ا ِۡب ٰرہ ِ ۡي َم‬ َ ‫َو تِ ۡل‬
‫ع ِل ۡي ٌم‬
َ ‫َح ِک ۡي ٌم‬
And this was Our proof (of the Oneness of Allah) that We imparted to Ibrahim (Abraham) against a
people (hostile to him). We exalt to higher ranks whom We please. Surely your Lord is Most Wise, All-
Knowing.

Al-An’âm 06:83

َ ‫َو َوہ َ ۡبنَا لَ ۤۡہ ا ِۡسحٰ قَ َو َیعۡ قُ ۡو‬

َ‫بؕ ُک ًَّّل ہَدَ ۡینَا ۚ َو نُ ۡو احا ہَدَ ۡینَا ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ُل َو ِم ۡن ذُ ِریَّتِ ٖہ دَاود‬
َ‫ک ن َۡج ِزی ۡال ُم ۡح ِس ِن ۡين‬ َ ‫ف َو ُم ۡوسٰ ی َو ٰہ ُر ۡونَ ؕ َو ک َٰذ ِل‬ َ ‫س‬ُ ‫ب َو یُ ۡو‬ َ ‫سلَ ۡيمٰ نَ َو اَی ُّۡو‬ُ ‫َو‬
And We bestowed upon him (Ibrahim [Abraham]), Ishaq (Isaac) and Ya‘qub (Jacob – son and grandson)
and blessed all (of them) with guidance. (Also) before (them) We provided guidance to Nuh (Noah) and
(guided aright) among his progeny Dawud (David), Sulaiman (Solomon) and Ayyub (Job) and Yusuf
(Joseph) and Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). And thus do We reward the pious.

Al-An’âm 06:84
َ‫ص ِل ِح ۡين‬ َ َ‫َو زَ ک َِریَّا َو یَ ۡح ٰيی َو ِع ۡيسٰ ی َو ا ِۡلي‬
‫اسؕ ُک ٌّل ِمنَ ال ہ‬
And (We guided also) Zakariyya (Zacharias), Yahya (John) and ‘Isa (Jesus) and Ilyas (Elias). All these were
the righteous people (blessed with His nearness and divine consciousness).

Al-An’âm 06:85

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

َ‫علَى ْال َعالَ ِمين‬

َ ‫طا َو ُكَّلًّ فض َّْلنَا‬
‫س َولُو ا‬ َ ‫َو ِإ ْس َما ِعي َل َو ْال َي‬
َ ُ‫س َع َویُون‬
And (We guided) Isma‘il (Ishmael), al-Yasa‘ (Elisha) and Yunus (Jonah) and Lut (Lot, too). And We exalted
all of them above all the people (of their time).

Al-An’âm 06:86

َ ۡ‫ّٰللاُ َو َرفَ َع َبع‬

‫ض ُہ ۡم‬ ٍ ۡ‫ع ٰلی َبع‬
‫ض ۘ ِم ۡن ُہ ۡم َّم ۡن کَلَّ َم ہ‬ َ ۡ‫س ُل فَض َّۡلنَا َبع‬
َ ‫ض ُہ ۡم‬ ُ ‫الر‬
ُّ ‫ک‬َ ‫تِ ۡل‬
ٍ ٰ‫دَ َرج‬
‫ت‬
Of all these Messengers (whom We sent) We have exalted some above others: Allah spoke to some of
them (directly), and raised some (above all others) in rank (i.e. elevated the Holy Prophet [Allah bless
him and give him peace] to the highest of all the degrees of the glory of Messengership)

Al-Baqrah 02:253

ٍ ‫علَى بَ ْع‬
‫ض‬ َ ‫َولَقَ ْد فَض َّْلنَا بَ ْع‬
َ َ‫ض النَّ ِب ِيين‬
And surely We exalted some Messengers above the others

Al-Israel 17:55

ٍ ۡ‫ع ٰلی بَع‬

‫ض‬ َ ۡ‫ف فَض َّۡلنَا بَع‬
َ ‫ض ُہ ۡم‬ ُ ‫ا ُ ۡن‬
َ ‫ظ ۡر ک َۡي‬
See how We have exalted some of them above the others!

Al-Israel 17:21

َ ‫ک اِ ًَّل َر ۡح َم اۃ ِل ۡلعلَ ِم‬

‫ين‬ َ ‫س ۡلن‬
َ ‫َو َم ۤۡا ا َ ۡر‬
And, (O Esteemed Messenger ‫ )ﷺ‬We have not sent you but as a Mercy for all the worlds

Al-Anbiya 21:107

ُ ‫ٰۤۡیاَیُّ َہا الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا ًَل تَقُ ۡولُ ۡوا َرا ِعنَا َو قُ ۡولُوا ۡان‬
ۡ ‫ظ ۡرنَا َو‬
‫اس َمعُ ۡوا‬
O Believers! (Seeking the kind attention of the Holy Prophet,) do not say: ‘Ra‘ina (pay attention to us),’
but submit (most humbly): ‘Unzurna (bless us with your benevolent gaze!),’ and be all ears (towards his
gracious discourse)

Al-Baqrah 02:104
ُ‫ت النَّ ِبي ِ َو ًَل تَ ْج َه ُروا لَه‬ َ َ‫ص َواتَ ُك ْم فَ ْوق‬
ِ ‫ص ْو‬ ْ َ‫یَا أَیُّ َها الَّذِینَ آ َمنُوا ًَل تَ ْرفَعُوا أ‬
َ‫ ا َِّن الَّذ ِۡین‬- َ‫ط أ َ ْع َمالُ ُك ْم َوأَنت ُ ْم ًَل ت َ ْشعُ ُرون‬ َ َ‫ض أَن تَ ْحب‬ ٍ ‫ض ُك ْم ِلبَ ْع‬ِ ‫بِ ْالقَ ْو ِل َك َج ْه ِر بَ ْع‬
ؕ‫ّٰللاُ قُلُ ۡو َب ُہ ۡم ِللت َّ ۡق ٰوی‬
‫ک الَّذ ِۡینَ امۡ تَ َحنَ ہ‬ ٰٓ ٰ ُ ‫ّٰللا ا‬ ُ ‫َیغُض ُّۡونَ اَصۡ َواتَ ُہ ۡم ِع ۡندَ َر‬
َ ِ‫ولئ‬ ِ ‫س ۡو ِل ہ‬
َ ‫لَ ُہ ۡم َّم ۡغ ِف َرۃ ٌ َّو اَ ۡج ٌر‬
‫ع ِظ ۡي ٌم‬

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

O Believers! Do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him)
and (also) do not speak to him so loud as you are loud when you speak to one another (lest) all your
actions should come to nothing (including your faith), and you are not even aware (that your faith and
all pious works have been wrecked). Assuredly those who keep their voices low in the Presence of
Allah’s Messenger (out of profound veneration and submissiveness), it is they whose hearts Allah has
chosen for God-wariness and permeated with sincerity. For them alone is forgiveness and an immense
reward.

Al-Hujrat 49:02, 03

ِ ‫ک ِم ۡن َّو َرآٰ ِء ۡال ُح ُج ٰر‬

َ‫ت اَ ۡکث َ ُرہ ُ ۡم ًَل یَعۡ ِقلُ ۡون‬ َ َ‫ا َِّن الَّذ ِۡینَ یُنَاد ُۡون‬
Verily those who call out to you from outside your apartments, most of them do not have the
understanding (of your exalted station and incomparable status and polite manners of paying you most
humble regards).

Al-Hujrat 49: 04

THE QUR’ANIC TITLES OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ﷺ‬

‫قَا َل ٰۤۡی ٰادَ ُم ا َ ۡۢۡن ِب ۡئ ُہ ۡم ِبا َ ۡس َمآٰئِ ِہ ۡم‬
Allah said: ‘O Adam, (now) apprise them of the names of these things.’

Al-Baqrah 02:33
‫ک‬ َ ‫ٰی ِع ۡيسٰۤۡ ی اِنِ ۡی ُمتَ َوفِ ۡي‬
َ ُ‫ک َو َرافِع‬
When Allah said: ‘O ‘Isa (Jesus), I will surely bring your term of life to completion; and I am about to lift
you towards Myself (in the heavens)

Al-Imran 03:55

ِ َّ‫علَی الن‬
‫اس‬ َ ۡ‫ٰی ُم ۡوسٰۤۡ ی اِنِی اص‬
َ ُ ‫طفَ ۡيت‬
َ ‫ک‬
(Allah) said: ‘O Musa (Moses)! I have exalted you and chosen you above all the people.

Al-Araf 07:144

َ ‫علَ ۡي‬
‫ک‬ َ ‫ت‬ َ ‫ٰینُ ۡو ُح ا ۡہ ِب ۡط ِب‬
ٍ ‫س ٰل ٍم ِمنَّا َو بَ َر ٰک‬
‘O Nuh (Noah), get down (from the Ark) with peace and blessings from Us on you

Hud 11:48
‫ک ِبغُ ٰل ِم‬
َ ‫ٰیزَ ک َِری َّۤۡا اِنَّا نُبَش ُِر‬
(Allah said:) ‘O Zakariyya (Zacharias), indeed We give you the good news of a son

Maryam 19:07

َ ‫ٰیيَ ۡح ٰيی ُخ ِذ ۡال ِک ٰت‬

ٍ‫ب بِقُ َّوۃ‬

O Yahya (John)! Hold fast to (Our) Book (the Torah).

Maryam 19:12

ALLAH ALMIHGTY ‫ ﷻ‬invariably called the Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬with the most distinguished and glorified titles
instead of calling by the name.

َ ‫س ۡو ُل بَ ِل ۡغ َم ۤۡا ا ُ ۡن ِز َل اِلَ ۡي‬

َ ِ‫ک ِم ۡن َّرب‬
‫ک‬ َّ ‫ٰۤۡیاَیُّ َہا‬
ُ ‫الر‬
O (Esteemed) Messenger ‫ !ﷺ‬Communicate (to the people all) that has been revealed to you from your
Lord.

Al-Maedah 05:67
ۡۤ
ُ‫ّٰللا‬
‫ک ہ‬ ُّ ‫ٰیا َیُّ َہا النَّ ِب‬
َ ُ‫ی َح ۡسب‬
O (Glorious) Messenger ‫ !ﷺ‬Sufficient for you is Allah ‫ﷻ‬

Al-Anfal 08:64
ۡۤ
‫ک ۡالقُ ۡر ٰانَ ِلت َ ۡش ٰقی‬ َ ‫ َم ۤۡا اَ ۡنزَ ۡلنَا‬- ‫ٰط ٰہ‬
َ ‫علَ ۡي‬
Ta-Ha. (Only Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and the Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬know the real meaning.) (O My Esteemed Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬We
have not revealed the Qur’an to you that you land in distress.

Tâ-Hâ 20: 01, 02

‫ َو ۡالقُ ۡر ٰا ِن ۡال َح ِک ۡي ِم‬- ‫س‬
ٰٓ ‫ٰی‬
Ya-Sin (Only Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and the Messenger ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him] know the real meaning.)
By the Qur’an which is full of Wisdom.

Yâ-Sȋn 36: 01, 02

‫قُ ِم الَّ ۡي َل ا ًَِّل قَ ِل ۡي اَّل‬- ‫ٰۤۡیاَیُّ َہا ۡال ُم َّز ِم ُل‬
O mantled (Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬Rise and stand (in Prayer) at night but (for) a short while

Al-Muzzammil 73: 01, 02

‫ قُ ۡم فَا َ ۡنذِر‬-‫ٰۤۡیاَیُّ َہا ۡال ُمدَّثِ ُر‬
O enwrapped (Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬Rise and give warning (to the people).

Al-Muddathir 74: 01, 02

COMPLIANCE WITH THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IS COMPLIANCE WITH

ALLAH ‫ ﷻ‬- THE QUR’ANIC EVIDENCE

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

َ‫ّٰللا‬
‫ع ہ‬ َ َ‫س ۡو َل فَقَ ۡد ا‬
َ ‫طا‬ َّ ِ‫َم ۡن ی ُِّطع‬
ُ ‫الر‬
Whoever obeys the Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) obeys (but) Allah ‫ ﷻ‬indeed.

Al-Nisa 04:80

ُ‫ّٰللا‬
‫ک ُم ہ‬ ‫قُ ۡل ا ِۡن ُک ۡنت ُ ۡم ت ُ ِحب ُّۡونَ ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاَ فَات َّ ِبعُ ۡونِ ۡی یُ ۡح ِب ۡب‬
(O Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬Say: ‘If you love Allah, follow me Allah will then take you as (His) beloved.’

Al-Imran 03:31

‫ع ِبا ِۡذ ِن ہ‬
ِ‫ّٰللا‬ ُ ‫س ۡلنَا ِم ۡن َّر‬
َ ُ‫س ۡو ٍل ا ًَِّل ِلي‬
َ ‫طا‬ َ ‫َو َم ۤۡا ا َ ۡر‬
And We have not sent any Messenger but that he must be obeyed by the Command of Allah ‫ﷻ‬

Al-Nisa 04:64
‫س ۡو ِل ٖہ‬ ‫اِنَّ َما ۡال ُم ۡؤ ِمنُ ۡونَ الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا بِ ہ‬
ُ ‫اّللِ َو َر‬
The true believers are only those who have believed in Allah‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and
peace be upon him)

Al-Hujrat 49: 15
َ‫س ۡولَ ۤۡہ ا ِۡن ُک ۡنت ُ ۡم ُّم ۡؤ ِمنِ ۡين‬ ‫َو اَ ِط ۡيعُوا ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬
And obey Allah and His Messenger if you are believers.

Al-Anfal 08: 01

‫س ۡولَہ َو یَتَعَدَّ ُحد ُۡودَہ یُ ۡد ِخ ۡلہُ ن ا‬

‫َارا خَا ِلداا فِ ۡي َہا‬ ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬
‫ص ہ‬ ِ ۡ‫َو َم ۡن یَّع‬
But whoever disobeys Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) and exceeds His
limits, He will admit him to Hell wherein shall he live forever.

Al-Nisa 04: 14
ُ‫شد ِۡید‬ ‫س ۡولَہ فَا َِّن ہ‬
َ َ‫ّٰللا‬ ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬
‫ق ہ‬ ِ ِ‫س ۡولَہ ۚ َو َم ۡن یُّشَاق‬ ‫شآٰقُّوا ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬ َ ‫ٰذ ِل‬
َ ‫ک ِباَنَّ ُہ ۡم‬
ِ ‫ۡال ِعقَا‬
‫ب‬
That is because they defied Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him). And he who
defies Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him), then surely Allah ‫ ﷻ‬is to seize
(him) with severe torment.

Al-Anfal 08: 13

َ ‫س ۡولَہ فَا َ َّن لَہ ن‬

‫َار َج َہنَّ َم‬ ‫اَلَ ۡم یَعۡ لَ ُم ۡۤۡوا اَنَّہ َم ۡن یُّ َحا ِد ِد ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬
Do they not know that he who opposes Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫ﷺ‬, the Fire of Hell is (destined) for
him?

Al-Taubah 09: 63
‫س ۡولُہ‬ ‫ًَل یُ َح ِر ُم ۡونَ َما َح َّر َم ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاُ َو َر‬

And (they) do not consider unlawful the things which Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace
be upon him) have declared unlawful

Al-Taubah 09:29
‫ّٰللاُ ِم ۡن‬
‫سيُ ۡؤتِ ۡينَا ہ‬ ‫س ۡولُہ ۙ َو قَالُ ۡوا َح ۡسبُنَا ہ‬
َ ُ‫ّٰللا‬ ‫ض ۡوا َم ۤۡا ٰا ٰتى ُہ ُم ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاُ َو َر‬ ُ ‫َو لَ ۡو اَنَّ ُہ ۡم َر‬
‫س ۡولُ ۤۡہ‬
ُ ‫ض ِل ٖہ َو َر‬ ۡ َ‫ف‬
How good it would have been if they had felt pleased with what Allah and His Messenger [blessings and
peace be upon him] had given them and said: ‘Sufficient for us is Allah ‫ﷻ‬. Allah ‫ ﷻ‬will soon confer on us
His Bounty and so will His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) bestow (in addition).

Al-Taubah 09: 59
ۡ َ‫س ۡولُہ ِم ۡن ف‬
‫ض ِل ٖہ‬ ‫َو َما نَقَ ُم ۡۤۡوا ِا َّ ًۤۡل اَ ۡن اَ ۡغ ٰن ُہ ُم ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاُ َو َر‬
And (out of Islam and the Messenger’s ‫ ﷺ‬conduct) they could not disdain anything, except that Allah
‫ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬had made them affluent with His Bounty.

Al-Taubah 09: 74

‫س ۡو ِل ٖۤۡہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاِ َو َر‬ ٌ َ‫و َۛ اَذ‬
‫ان ِمنَ ہ‬
(These Verses) are a (public) declaration from Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be
upon him)

Al-Taubah 09: 03
‫س ۡو ِل ٖۤۡہ‬ ‫بَ َرآٰ َءۃ ٌ ِمنَ ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاِ َو َر‬
Absolution (renunciation) is declared from Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon
him)

Al-Taubah 09: 01

‫علَ ۡي ِہ‬ َ ۡ‫علَ ۡي ِہ َو ا َ ۡنعَم‬

َ ‫ت‬ ‫اَ ۡن َع َم ہ‬
َ ُ‫ّٰللا‬
And, (O Beloved ‫ﷺ‬, recall the time) when you said to him whom Allah ‫ ﷻ‬had favoured and you (too) had
done him a favour

Al-Ahzab 33:37
‫اّللِ َو ۡاليَ ۡو ِم‬
‫س ۡو ِل ا ِۡن ُک ۡنت ُ ۡم ت ُ ۡؤ ِمنُ ۡونَ ِب ہ‬
ُ ‫الر‬ ‫فَا ِۡن تَنَازَ ۡعت ُ ۡم فِ ۡی ش َۡیءٍ فَ ُرد ُّۡوہُ اِلَی ہ‬
َّ ‫ّٰللاِ َو‬
‫س ُن تَ ۡا ِو ۡی اَّل‬ ٰۡ
َ ‫اًل ِخ ِرؕ ٰذ ِل‬
َ ‫ک خ َۡي ٌر َّو اَ ۡح‬
Then if you disagree among yourselves over any issue, refer it to Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and the Messenger ‫ﷺ‬
([blessings and peace be upon him] for final judgment) if you believe in Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and the Last Day. That is
best (for you) and best for the end result.

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

Al-Nisa 04:59
ُ َّ‫س ۡولُ ۤۡہ اَمۡ ارا اَ ۡن ی‬
‫ک ۡونَ لَ ُہ ُم‬ ُ ‫ّٰللاُ َو َر‬
‫ضی ہ‬َ َ‫َو َما َکانَ ِل ُم ۡؤ ِم ٍن َّو ًَل ُم ۡؤ ِمنَ ٍۃ اِذَا ق‬
‫ۡال ِخيَ َرۃ ُ ِم ۡن اَمۡ ِرہِ ۡم‬
And neither a believing man nor a believing woman has (this) right that, when Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His
Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) have once given judgment (or command) on an affair,
they should exercise their own choice in (doing or not doing that) work of theirs.

Al-Ahzab 33:36
ۡۤ
‫س ۡو ِل ٖہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاِ َو َر‬
‫ی ہ‬ ِ َ‫ٰیاَیُّ َہا الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا ًَل تُقَ ِد ُم ۡوا َب ۡينَ یَد‬
O Believers! Do not step ahead of Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫[( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him] in
any matter)

Al-Hujrat 49:01

ُ ‫س ۡولُ ۤۡہ اَ َح ُّق اَ ۡن یُّ ۡر‬

َ‫ض ۡوہُ اِ ۡن کَانُ ۡوا ُم ۡؤ ِم ِن ۡين‬ ُ ‫ّٰللاُ َو َر‬
‫َو ہ‬
Whereas Allah along with His Messenger (blessings and peace be upon him) has a greater right that He
should be pleased. If they are the believers, (they should have known this fact and should have pleased
the Messenger [blessings and peace be upon him]. Allah is pleased only if the Messenger [blessings and
peace be upon him] is pleased because their pleasure is but one and the same).

Al-Taubah 09: 62
‫ّٰللاِ فَ ۡوقَ اَ ۡید ِۡی ِہ ۡم‬ َ َ‫ا َِّن الَّذ ِۡینَ یُبَا ِیعُ ۡون‬
‫ک اِنَّ َما یُبَا ِیعُ ۡونَ ہ‬
‫ّٰللاَؕ یَدُ ہ‬
(O Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬Indeed those who pledge allegiance to you in fact pledge allegiance to Allah ‫ ﷻ‬alone.
Allah’s ‫ ﷻ‬hand is over their hands (in the form of your hand).

Al-Fath 48:10

‫ت َو ٰل ِک َّن ہ‬
‫ّٰللاَ َرمٰ ی‬ َ ‫ت ا ِۡذ َر َم ۡي‬
َ ‫َو َما َر َم ۡي‬
(O Glorious Beloved ‫ﷺ‬,) when you smote (them with pebbles), it was not you who smote them but
Allah ‫ ﷻ‬smote

Al-Anfal 08: 17

ٌ ‫ع ِن ۡال َہ ٰوی ا ِۡن ہ ُ َو ا ًَِّل َو ۡح‬

‫ی ی ُّۡوحٰ ی‬ َ ‫َو َما یَ ۡن ِط ُق‬
He does not speak out of his (own) desire. His speech is nothing but outright Revelation which is sent to
him.

AL-Najm 53:03, 04
ٰ ۡ ‫ّٰللاُ فِی الد ُّۡنيَا َو‬
ِ‫اًل ِخ َرۃ‬ ‫س ۡولَہ لَ َعنَ ُہ ُم ہ‬ ‫ا َِّن الَّذ ِۡینَ یُ ۡؤذُ ۡونَ ہ‬
ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬
Surely those who offend Allah and His Prophet, Allah ‫ ﷻ‬curses them in the world and in the Hereafter.

Al-Ahzab 33: 57
َ‫ک فِی ۡاًلَذَ ِل ۡين‬ ٰٓ ٰ ُ ‫س ۡولَ ۤۡہ ا‬ ‫ا َِّن الَّذ ِۡینَ یُ َحآٰد ُّۡونَ ہ‬
َ ِ‫ولئ‬ ُ ‫ّٰللاَ َو َر‬

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

Surely those who maintain enmity against Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and His Messenger ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon
him], it is they who are of the lowest of mankind.

Al-Mujadilah 58: 20
‫س ۡو ِل‬ َّ ‫قُ ِل ۡاًلَ ۡنفَا ُل ِ ہّللِ َو‬
ُ ‫الر‬
Say (O Esteemed Messenger ‫)!ﷺ‬: ‘The spoils belong to Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and the Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and
peace be upon him).’

Al-Anfal 08: 01
َ‫ب ۡال ٰک ِف ِر ۡین‬ ‫س ۡو َل ۚ فَا ِۡن تَ َولَّ ۡوا فَا َِّن ہ‬
ُّ ‫ّٰللاَ ًَل یُ ِح‬ ُ ‫الر‬ ‫قُ ۡل اَ ِط ۡيعُوا ہ‬
َّ ‫ّٰللاَ َو‬
Say: ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger (blessing and peace be upon him).’ But if they turn away then Allah
does not like the disbelievers.

Al-Imran 03: 32
‫کم‬ َ َ‫س ۡو ِل اِذَا د‬
ُ ‫عا ُک ۡم ِل َما یُ ۡح ِي ۡي‬ ۡ ‫ٰۤۡیا َیُّ َہا الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُوا‬
َّ ‫است َ ِج ۡيبُ ۡوا ِ ہّللِ َو ِل‬
ُ ‫لر‬
O Believers! Whenever the Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) calls you for some
assignment that brings you (eternal) life, present yourselves (immediately), responding to Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and
His Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him) with submissiveness and obedience.

Al-Anfal 08: 24

THE AESTHETIC STYLE OF THE QUR’AN AND ITS DESCRIPTION OF THE

HOLY PROPHET ‫ﷺ‬
۪‫ک‬َ ‫ب ًَل ۡنفَض ُّۡوا ِم ۡن َح ۡو ِل‬ ِ ‫ظ ۡالقَ ۡل‬
َ ‫غ ِل ۡي‬
َ ‫ظا‬ ًّ َ‫ت ف‬
َ ‫ت لَ ُہ ۡم ۚ َو لَ ۡو ُک ۡن‬
َ ‫ّٰللاِ ِل ۡن‬
‫فَبِ َما َر ۡح َم ٍۃ ِمنَ ہ‬
‫علَی ہ‬
ِؕ‫ّٰللا‬ َ ‫ت فَتَ َو َّک ۡل‬
َ ۡ‫عزَ م‬َ ‫است َ ۡغ ِف ۡر لَ ُہ ۡم َو شَا ِو ۡرہ ُ ۡم ِفی ۡاًلَمۡ ِر ۚ فَ ِاذَا‬ ۡ ‫ع ۡن ُہ ۡم َو‬َ ‫ف‬ ُ ‫اع‬ ۡ َ‫ف‬
َ‫ب ۡال ُمتَ َو ِک ِل ۡين‬ ‫ا َِّن ہ‬
ُّ ‫ّٰللاَ یُ ِح‬
(O My Adorable Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬What a Mercy of Allah ‫ ﷻ‬that you are lenient with them! Had you been
stern and hard-hearted, people would have deserted, scattering away from around you. So pardon
them, and pray for their forgiveness, and consult them in (important) matters. But once you make up
your mind, place your trust in Allah ‫ﷻ‬. Surely, Allah ‫ ﷻ‬loves those who trust Him.

Al-Imran 03:159
‫کؕ َو َما‬ َ ‫ُّضلُّ ۡو‬ َّ ‫ک َو َر ۡح َمتُہ لَ َہ َّم ۡت‬
ِ ‫طا ٰٓ ِئفَ ٌۃ ِم ۡن ُہ ۡم اَ ۡن ی‬ َ ‫علَ ۡي‬ ‫ض ُل ہ‬
َ ِ‫ّٰللا‬ ۡ َ‫َو لَ ۡو ًَل ف‬
َ ‫ک ۡال ِک ٰت‬
‫ب َو‬ َ ‫علَ ۡي‬ ‫ک ِم ۡن ش َۡیءٍ ؕ َو ا َ ۡنزَ َل ہ‬
َ ُ‫ّٰللا‬ َ َ‫ض ُّر ۡون‬ُ ‫س ُہ ۡم َو َما َی‬َ ُ‫ضلُّ ۡونَ ا َّ ًِۤۡل ا َ ۡنف‬
ِ ُ‫ی‬
‫ع ِظ ۡي اما‬
َ ‫ک‬ َ ‫علَ ۡي‬ ‫ض ُل ہ‬
َ ِ‫ّٰللا‬ ۡ َ‫ک ۡن ت َعۡ لَ ُمؕ َو َکانَ ف‬ ُ َ‫ک َما لَ ۡم ت‬َ ‫علَّ َم‬ َ ‫ۡال ِح ۡک َم َۃ َو‬
And, (O Beloved ‫ﷺ‬,) had not Allah’s ‫ ﷻ‬Bounty and Mercy been upon you, a party of these (treacherous)
people had resolved to lead you astray whereas they are only leading themselves astray and can no way
do any harm to you. And Allah ‫ ﷻ‬has revealed to you the Book and Wisdom and has bestowed upon you
all that knowledge which you did not possess. Mighty indeed is Allah’s ‫ ﷻ‬Bounty on you.
Al-Nisa 04:113

‫ِی َی ِجد ُۡونَہ َم ۡکت ُ ۡوباا ِع ۡندَہ ُ ۡم فِی الت َّ ۡو ٰرى ِۃ َو‬ ۡ ‫ی الَّذ‬َّ ‫ی ۡاًلُ ِم‬َّ ‫س ۡو َل النَّ ِب‬ َّ َ‫اَلَّذ ِۡینَ َیت َّ ِبعُ ۡون‬
ُ ‫الر‬
‫ت َو یُ َح ِر ُم‬ َّ ‫ع ِن ۡال ُم ۡنک َِر َو یُ ِح ُّل لَ ُہ ُم‬
ِ ‫الط ِي ٰب‬ َ ‫ف َو یَ ۡن ٰہ ُہ ۡم‬ ِ ‫اًل ۡن ِج ۡي ِل ۫ یَ ۡا ُم ُرہ ُ ۡم ِب ۡال َمعۡ ُر ۡو‬ِۡ
َ ‫ع ۡن ُہ ۡم اِصۡ َرہ ُ ۡم َو ۡاًلَ ۡغ ٰل َل الَّتِ ۡی کَان َۡت‬
‫علَ ۡي ِہ ۡمؕ فَالَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا‬ َ ‫ض ُع‬ َ َ‫ث َو ی‬ َ ِ‫علَ ۡي ِہ ُم ۡالخ ٰ َٰٓبئ‬َ
ٰٓ ٰ ُ ‫ِی ا ُ ۡن ِز َل َم َع ۤۡہ ۙ ا‬
ۡۤۡ ‫ص ُر ۡوہُ َو ات َّ َبعُوا النُّ ۡو َر الَّذ‬
‫ک ہ ُ ُم‬َ ‫ول ِئ‬ َ َ‫ع َّز ُر ۡوہُ َو ن‬ َ ‫ِب ٖہ َو‬
َ‫ۡال ُم ۡف ِل ُح ۡون‬
(They are the people) who follow the Messenger ‫ﷺ‬, the Prophet (titled as) al-Ummi (who imparts to the
people from Allah ‫ ﷻ‬the news of the unseen and knowledge and secrets of socio-economic disciplines of
life without himself being taught by any human in the world); whose (eminent attributes and exquisite
powers) these people find written in the Torah and the Injil (Gospel); who enjoins on them virtues and
forbids them vices, declares wholesome things lawful and impure ones unlawful for them and removes
from them their heavy burdens and yokes (shackles) weighing upon them (due to their acts of
disobedience and blesses them with freedom). So those who will believe in this (most exalted
Messenger ‫ )ﷺ‬and will venerate and revere him and serve and support him (in his Din [Religion]) and
follow the light (the Qur’an) that has been sent down with him, it is they who will flourish and prosper.’

Al-A’râf 07:157

َ‫ک ۡم ِب ۡال ُم ۡؤ ِمنِ ۡين‬

ُ ‫علَ ۡي‬ َ ‫علَ ۡي ِہ َما‬
ٌ ‫عنِت ُّ ۡم َح ِر ۡی‬
َ ‫ص‬ َ ‫ع ِز ۡی ٌز‬ ُ ‫س ۡو ٌل ِم ۡن اَ ۡنفُ ِس‬
َ ‫ک ۡم‬ ُ ‫لَقَ ۡد َجا ٰٓ َء ُک ۡم َر‬
‫ف َّر ِح ۡي ٌم‬
ٌ ‫َر ُء ۡو‬
Surely a (Glorious) Messenger from amongst yourselves has come to you. Your suffering and distress
(becomes) grievously heavy on him (blessings and peace be upon him). (O mankind,) he is ardently
desirous of your (betterment and guidance. And) he is most (deeply) clement and merciful to the
believers.

Al-Tawbah 09:128

َ ‫ّٰللاِ ا ُ ۡس َوۃ ٌ َح‬

‫سنَ ٌۃ‬ ‫س ۡو ِل ہ‬ ُ َ‫لَقَ ۡد َکانَ ل‬
ُ ‫ک ۡم فِ ۡی َر‬
In truth in (the holy being of) Allah’s ‫ ﷻ‬Messenger ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him] there is for you a
most perfect and beautiful model (of life)

Al-Ahzab 33:21
‫ّٰللاِ ِبا ِۡذنِ ٖہ َو‬ َ ‫س ۡل ٰن‬
‫ک شَاہِداا َّو ُمبَش اِرا َّو نَذ ِۡی ارا َّو دَا ِعياا اِلَی ہ‬ َ ‫ی اِنَّ ۤۡا اَ ۡر‬ ۡۤ
ُّ ‫ٰیاَیُّ َہا النَّ ِب‬
‫ِس َرا اجا ُّمنِ ۡي ارا‬
O (Esteemed) Prophet ‫ !ﷺ‬Surely We have sent you as a Witness (to the Truth and the Creation), a Bearer
of glad tidings (of the Beauty of the Hereafter) and a Warner (of the Torment in the Hereafter), And (as)
an Inviter towards Allah ‫ ﷻ‬by His Command and as a Sun spreading Light.

Al-Ahzab 33:45, 46
‫علَ ۡي ِہ ۡم ٰا ٰیتِ ٖہ َو یُزَ ِک ۡي ِہ ۡم َو‬ ُ ‫ث ِفی ۡاًلُ ِم ٖينَ َر‬
َ ‫س ۡو اًل ِم ۡن ُہ ۡم َی ۡتلُ ۡوا‬ َ ‫ِی َب َع‬ ۡ ‫ہ ُ َو الَّذ‬
َ ‫ب َو ۡال ِح ۡک َم َۃ ٭ َو ا ِۡن کَانُ ۡوا ِم ۡن قَ ۡب ُل لَ ِف ۡی‬
‫ض ٰل ٍل ُّم ِب ۡي ٍن‬ َ ‫یُ َع ِل ُم ُہ ُم ۡال ِک ٰت‬

 THE MAGNEFICENCE OF THE HOLY PROPHET ‫ ﷺ‬IN THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN

He is the One Who sent among the illiterate people from among themselves a (Glorious) Messenger ‫ﷺ‬
(blessings and peace be upon him) who recites to them His Revelations and cleanses and purifies them
(outwardly and inwardly) and teaches them the Book and Wisdom. Indeed they were in open error
before (his most welcome arrival).

Al-Jumu’ah 62:02
‫ع ِظ ۡي ٍم‬ ٍ ُ‫ک لَعَ ٰلی ُخل‬
َ ‫ق‬ َ َّ‫َو اِن‬
And assuredly you are placed high on the Most Glorious and Exalted (seat of) Character (i.e. adorned
with the Qur’anic morality and endowed with the character traits of Allah ‫)ﷻ‬

Al-Qalam 68:04

THE QUR’AN MENTIONS DEVOTION AND REVERENCE FOR THE NOBLE

PROPHET ‫ﷺ‬
ٰ ‫ک ِق ۡب َل اۃ ت َ ۡر‬
َ ‫ض َہا ۪ فَ َو ِل َو ۡج َہ‬
‫ک‬ َ َّ‫س َما ٰٓ ِء ۚ فَلَنُ َو ِل َين‬ َ ‫ب َو ۡج ِہ‬
َّ ‫ک ِفی ال‬ َ ُّ‫قَ ۡد ن َٰری تَقَل‬
‫ش َۡط َر ۡال َم ۡس ِج ِد ۡال َح َرام‬
(O Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬We have been watching your radiant face turning frequently towards heaven. So, We
will indeed make you turn towards that Qibla (direction of Prayer) which you feel pleased with.

Al-Baqrah 02:144

ُ ‫ب َّو ِح ۡک َم ٍۃ ث ُ َّم َجا ٰٓ َء ُک ۡم َر‬

‫س ۡو ٌل‬ ٍ ‫ک ۡم ِم ۡن ِک ٰت‬ ‫َو ا ِۡذ اَ َخذَ ہ‬
ُ ُ ‫ّٰللاُ ِم ۡيثَاقَ النَّ ِب ٖينَ لَ َم ۤۡا ٰاتَ ۡيت‬
ُ ‫ع ٰلی ٰذ ِل‬
‫ک ۡم‬ َ ‫ص ُرنَّہؕ قَا َل َءا َ ۡق َر ۡرت ُ ۡم َو اَخ َۡذت ُ ۡم‬ُ ‫ک ۡم لَت ُ ۡؤ ِمنُ َّن ِب ٖہ َو لَت َ ۡن‬ ُ ‫ِق ِل َما َم َع‬ٌ ‫صد‬َ ‫ُّم‬
َ‫ش ِہد ِۡین‬
‫ک ۡم ِمنَ ال ہ‬ ُ َ‫اش َہد ُۡوا َو اَنَا َمع‬ ۡ َ‫اِصۡ ِر ۡیؕ قَالُ ۡۤۡوا ا َ ۡق َر ۡرنَاؕ قَا َل ف‬
And, (O Beloved ‫ﷺ‬, recall the time) when Allah took a firm covenant from the Prophets: ‘When I give
you the Book and Wisdom and then there comes to you the Messenger ‫( ﷺ‬who is exalted in glory above
all and) who shall validate the Books you will have with you, you shall then, most certainly, believe in
him and most surely help him.’ Allah ‫ ﷻ‬said: ‘Do you affirm, and on this (condition) hold fast to My heavy
Covenant?’ All submitted: ‘We affirm.’ Allah ‫ ﷻ‬said: ‘Bear witness then and I am also with you among the
witnesses.

Al-Imran 03:81

َ ‫ّٰللاُ ِليُ َع ِذ َب ُہ ۡم َو اَ ۡن‬

‫ت فِ ۡي ِہ ۡم‬ ‫َو َما َکانَ ہ‬
And, (in truth, the matter is that) it is not Allah’s ‫ ﷻ‬Glory to torment them while, (O Venerable Beloved
‫ﷺ‬,) you are also (present) among them.

Al-Anfal 08:33
َ‫س ۡک َر ِت ِہ ۡم َیعۡ َم ُہ ۡون‬
َ ‫ک اِنَّ ُہ ۡم لَ ِف ۡی‬
َ ‫لَ َعمۡ ُر‬
(O Glorious Beloved ‫ )!ﷺ‬By your (sacred) life, surely these people (too) are wandering astray, possessed
by their lust.

Al-Hijr 15:72
‫ک َمقَا اما َّم ۡح ُم ۡوداا‬ َ َ‫عسٰۤۡ ی اَ ۡن ی َّۡب َعث‬
َ ُّ‫ک َرب‬ َ
Your Lord ‫ ﷻ‬will certainly raise you to a station of praise and glory (i.e. the glorious station of
intercession where all the former and later generations will turn towards you and glorify you).

Al-Isra 17:79

ِ ۡ‫عا ٰٓ ِء بَع‬
ُ ‫ض‬
‫ک ۡم بَعۡ ا‬
‫ضا‬ ُ َ‫س ۡو ِل بَ ۡين‬
َ ُ‫ک ۡم َکد‬ ُ ‫الر‬ َ ُ‫ًَل تَ ۡج َعلُ ۡوا د‬
َّ ‫عا ٰٓ َء‬
(O Muslims!) Do not regard the calling of the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬among you like your calling of one another.
(When calling the Holy Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬is not like your mutual calling among you, then how can the Holy
Personality of the Prophet be like yours?)

Al-Nur 24:63
‫ی اَ ۡو ٰلی بِ ۡال ُم ۡؤ ِم ِن ۡينَ ِم ۡن اَ ۡنفُس ِِہ ۡم َو اَ ۡز َوا ُج ۤۡہ ا ُ َّم ٰہت ُ ُہ ۡم‬
ُّ ‫اَلنَّ ِب‬
This (Esteemed) Prophet is nearer to and has a greater claim on the believers than their own souls and
his (pure) wives are their mothers.

Al-Ahzab 33:06
ۡۤ ٰٓ
َ ‫علَ ۡي ِہ َو‬
‫س ِل ُم ۡوا‬ َ ‫علَی النَّبِ ِیؕ ٰیاَیُّ َہا الَّذ ِۡینَ ٰا َمنُ ۡوا‬
َ ‫صلُّ ۡوا‬ َ ُ‫ّٰللاَ َو َم ٰلئِ َکتَہ ی‬
َ َ‫صلُّ ۡون‬ ‫ا َِّن ہ‬
‫تَ ۡس ِل ۡي اما‬
Surely Allah ‫ ﷻ‬and (all) His angels invoke blessings and greetings on the Holy Prophet ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and
peace be upon him]. O Believers! You (also) invoke blessings on him and salute him with a worthy
salutation of peace abundantly (and fervently).

Al-Ahzab 33:56
‫ع ِن ۡال َہ ٰوی‬ َ ‫ َو َما یَ ۡن ِط ُق‬- ‫ک ۡم َو َما غ َٰوی‬ ُ ُ‫احب‬ ِ ‫ص‬َ ‫ض َّل‬َ ‫ َما‬- ‫َو النَّ ۡج ِم اِذَا ہ َ ٰوی‬
‫ َو‬- ‫استَ ٰوی‬ ۡ َ‫ ذُ ۡو ِم َّرۃٍؕ ف‬- ‫شد ِۡیدُ ۡالقُ ٰوی‬ َ ‫علَّ َمہ‬َ - ‫ی ی ُّۡوحٰ ی‬ ٌ ‫ ا ِۡن ہ ُ َو ا ًَِّل َو ۡح‬-
‫ فَا َ ۡوحٰۤۡ ی ا ِٰلی‬- ‫س ۡي ِن اَ ۡو ا َ ۡد ٰنی‬ َ َ‫ فَ َکانَ ق‬- ‫ ث ُ َّم دَنَا فَتَدَلہی‬-‫ق ۡاًلَ ۡع ٰلی‬
َ ‫اب قَ ۡو‬ ِ ُ‫ہ ُ َو بِ ۡاًلُف‬
‫ َو لَقَ ۡد َر ٰاہُ ن َۡزلَ اۃ‬- ‫ اَفَتُمٰ ُر ۡونَہ‬- ‫ب ۡالفُ َؤادُ َما َر ٰای‬ َ َ‫ َما َکذ‬- ‫ع ۡبد ِٖہ َم ۤۡا اَ ۡوحٰ ی‬ َ
‫ ا ِۡذ یَ ۡغشَی الس ِۡد َرۃَ َما‬- ‫ ِع ۡندَہَا َجنَّ ُۃ ۡال َم ۡا ٰوی‬- ‫ ِع ۡندَ ِس ۡد َرۃِ ۡال ُم ۡنتَ ٰہی‬- ‫ا ُ ۡخ ٰری‬
‫ک ۡب ٰری‬ُ ‫ت َربِ ِہ ۡال‬ ِ ‫ لَقَ ۡد َر ٰای ِم ۡن ٰا ٰی‬- ‫ط ٰغی‬
َ ‫ص ُر َو َما‬ َ َ‫غ ۡالب‬ َ ‫ َما زَ ا‬- ‫یَ ۡغ ٰشی‬
By the bright star (Muhammad ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon him]) when (he ascended during the
Ascension Night in the twinkling of an eye and) descended. He who bestowed on you his companionship
(i.e. the Messenger ‫ﷺ‬, who made you his companions by blessing you with his companionship,) has
never lost his way, nor has he (ever) strayed from the right path. He does not speak out of his (own)
desire. His speech is nothing but outright Revelation, which is sent to him. (The Lord) of Mighty Powers
(directly) conferred on him (perfect) knowledge, He ‫ ﷻ‬Who is absolute beauty. Then He ‫( ﷻ‬the
Effulgence of Beauty) decided to unveil (Himself). And he (Muhammad ‫[ ﷺ‬blessings and peace be upon
him]) was on the uppermost horizon (of the realm of creation during the Ascension Night i.e. on the

apex of the created cosmos). Then He ‫( ﷻ‬the Lord of Honour) drew closer (to His Beloved Muhammad ‫ﷺ‬
[blessings and peace be upon him]), and then drew even closer. Then a distance measuring only two
bow-lengths was left (between Allah ‫ ﷻ‬Unveiled and His Esteemed Beloved ‫ )ﷺ‬or even less than that (in
extreme nearness). So (on that station of nearness and union) He (Allah ‫ )ﷻ‬revealed to His (Beloved ‫)ﷺ‬
servant whatever He revealed. (His) heart did not take it contrary to what (his) eyes beheld. Do you
argue with him about what he saw? And assuredly he saw Him ‫( ﷻ‬Allah Unveiled) the second time (again
and you argue only about seeing Him once). At the farthest Lote-Tree — Sidrat al-Muntaha, Adjacent to
that is the Eternal Paradise - Jannat al-Ma’wa, When theophanies (i.e. Effulgent Disclosures) of the
Divine Light wrapped up as-Sidra (the Lote-Tree at the Far End), covering it expansively. And his eye
neither inclined aside nor overstepped the limit; (it gazed in ecstasy at Whom it was to gaze). Surely he
saw the Greatest Signs of His Lord (during the Ascension Night).

Al-Najm 53:01-18

َ َّ‫ک َو َما قَ ٰلی َو لَ ۡ َّٰل ِخ َرۃ ُ خ َۡي ٌر ل‬

‫ک‬ َ ُّ‫ک َرب‬َ ‫ع‬ َ َّ‫سجٰ ی َما َود‬ َ ‫ضحٰ ی َو الَّ ۡي ِل اِذَا‬
ُّ ‫َو ال‬
‫ضی‬ٰ ‫ک فَت َ ۡر‬
َ ُّ‫ک َرب‬ َ ‫ف یُعۡ ِط ۡي‬ َ َ‫ِمنَ ۡاًلُ ۡو ٰلی َو ل‬
َ ‫س ۡو‬
By the growing morning bright (when the sun gains height and spreads its radiance), Or: (O My
Esteemed Beloved ‫ﷺ‬,) I swear by (your Holy face glowing like) the growing morning bright, (the radiant
face, whose effulgence has illumined the dark souls,) Or: By (the growing sunshine of your
Messengership rising like) the morning bright (whose radiance has replaced the darkness of ignorance
with the enlightenment of guidance,) And by the night when it covers up, Or: (O My Esteemed Beloved
‫ﷺ‬,) I swear by your fragrant tresses spread like sprawling murky night (over your divinely effulgent face
and shoulders,) (Or: By [the veil of your essence that is keeping under layered covers your real nucleus
of radiance like) the dark night when it envelops,) (Ever since He ‫ ﷻ‬has chosen you ‫ﷺ‬,) your Lord has not
forsaken you. Nor is He displeased (ever since He has taken you as His Beloved). Indeed every following
hour is a better (source of eminence and exaltation) for you than the preceding one. And soon your Lord
shall bestow upon you (so much) that you will be well-pleased.

Ad-Duha 93:01-05

‫ک َو‬ َ ‫ض‬
َ ‫ظہۡ َر‬ ۡۤۡ ‫ک الَّذ‬
َ َ‫ِی ا َ ۡنق‬ َ ‫ک ِو ۡز َر‬
َ ‫ع ۡن‬
َ ‫ضعۡ نَا‬ َ ‫ص ۡد َر‬
َ ‫ک َو َو‬ َ ‫ک‬ َ َ‫اَلَ ۡم ن َۡش َر ۡح ل‬
َ ‫ک ذ ِۡک َر‬
‫ک‬ َ َ‫َرفَعۡ نَا ل‬
Have We not broadened your breast for you (for the light of knowledge, wisdom and spiritual gnosis)?
And We have taken off the load (of grief of the Ummah [Community]) from you, The load) which was
growing heavier on your (holy) back. And We exalted for you your remembrance (by annexing it to Ours
everywhere in the world and in the Hereafter).

Ash-Sharah 94:01-04
