Artifact 2 shows an agenda I created for the K-12 Education Team at the Office of Sustainability.

This artifact is from our first meeting of the Spring 2018 semester. I believe this artifact shows

my key insight of leading by example by how I structured this document. I make an effort to

effectively communicate my expectations regarding event attendance and activities early on in

the semester. In addition to immediately communicating all K-12 events, I always try to make

clear what my members need to accomplish in the coming week through “action items” and

“upcoming events”. I have discovered that this increases accountability and responsibility in

team members. Additionally, the Office of Sustainability requires that the actions of facilitator

(who creates the agenda), scribe, and time-keeper rotate throughout the semester to each team

member. I hope to have shown my team members what I look for in an agenda in terms of

organization and clarity through what I have created myself.
