NAVIGATION PANE
Allows you to display/hide bookmarks or thumbnail views of pages.
To improve your view of the bookmarks, click on the border between the
bookmark window and the page window and drag the border to the right.
Click on the bookmark or page tab to view bookmarks or thumbnails.

HAND TOOL
Lets you move a single page on the screen when the page does not fit the
window. Drag the Hand tool in the direction you want to move the page.
To follow the two-column format more easily in higher magnifications, use the
Article Threads feature. Place the Hand tool pointer over the text of a column.
The pointer changes to include a down arrow. Click anywhere in the text or
press Enter to follow the text view by view. To exit an Article Thread, Click +
Shift + Option (Macintosh) or Shift + Ctrl + Click (Windows).

MAGNIFICATION
Allows for reduction (-) or magnification (+) of text and/or illustrations.
You can also enter a value into the magnification box.

CUTTING AND PASTING


Use the Text Select tool to select text in a document, which can then be copied
to the Clipboard by using the Copy command. From the Edit menu, select
Copy. The Clipboard acts as a temporary storage for what was copied. You can
now go to a word processing program and paste your selection.
Use the Snapshot tool to select graphics in a document.

BROWSE TOOLS
Lets you move forward or backward a single page at a time or move to
the first or last page of a document.

GO BACK OR GO FORWARD
Retraces your steps through the document, moving to each view in the order
visited. The Go Back tool also returns you to the original document after
you’ve clicked a link to a second document.

SEARCH TOOLS
Search the information you need by a title, word, or string of words in a matter
of seconds.
Search allows you to search the entire database. Select Search and select
desired options in the dialogue box, enter word or string of words, and select
Search Button.
