We have a major problem of un-cleaned washrooms in
many public places like schools, railway, bus stations and
trains etc. The main reason behind this is most people
would not like to touch the taps and flush buttons as they
operate in electrical energy and come out without flushing.
This leaves behind an un-cleaned washroom with bad odor.
Our project deals with this issue, we introduce an idea to
overcome this problem by introducing a system which
automatically flushes after every use without the user
touching any components of flush making the washroom
ready for the next user. In this way the labor requirement for
the maintenance of washrooms would be minimized.

mechanism for the flushing of the toilet.
The experimental setup require the following parts
1. Pedal
2. Lever
3. Hallow rod
4. Valve
5. Storage tank
Pedal: A pedal is a Latin word, meaning 'foot' is
a lever activated by foot, sometimes called a "foot pedal"
but all pedals are used by a foot. It specifically refers to
transport, music and Electronic equipment.

electrical current (because of its low electrical resistance).
• Due to this displacement the other side of the lever
gets displaced and this displacement achieved is
greater than that of pedal side displacement.

• This in turn pushes the connecting rod upwards

which operates the valves connected to connecting

• By default, the valve connecting the overhead tank is

• When the Person steps out, the pedal is restored back

to its original position and the valves are operated to
their default condition.

. • In this way water gets flushed in the urinal.

5. Conclusions
The mechanical stirrer can work any operating conditions.
The use of mechanical stirrer minimizes the consumption.
Maintenance expenses are almost minimum.
