 BANDUNG IS ONE OF THE BEST

Bandung is one of the best cities in Indonesia. It is the capital city of

West Java province which is located in the western part of Java Island. Now, its
population is getting higher about 7.7 million inhabitants. Because of its beauty
and attractiveness of the city, Bandung is also known as the “Flower City”.
Beside that people and tourist frequently called it as “Paris Van Java”. Bandung
lies about 180km from its capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta.

The natural characteristic of Bandung is a cool city, by its average

temperature around 23 Celsius which is considered as fresh in by most of
Indonesian people. This condition happens since Bandung is located at an
altitude near about 768m above the sea level. As a result, its air is basically so
friendly and fresh which makes spending the whole holiday right here is the
best choice to refresh mind after the all stressing routine activities.

The weather here is making Bandung as one of domestic tourist

destinations in Indonesia. Besides of its cool weather, Bandung also pleases all
the tourists here by its culinary and shopping service. You can find shopping
heaven here in Dago and Cihampelas. Here, we can find a lot of factory outlets
which provides you many fashion products in cheap pricing. While right on
upper part, Dago has a lot of fancy café. These cafes serve all the tourist by
tasty food, both modern and traditional food in Bandung.

Lembang is another place which is worth to visit. It lies in a bit outside

of Bandung city. This place is so popular by its cow’s milk, traditional food
baked sticky rice, and also a large strawberry farms, a place where you can pick
as many as strawberry and straight eat it by paying a worth cost.

In short, Bandung is quiet fine place to spend all the weekend or

holiday in Indonesia. A great place where provides all the people and tourists by
its rich cultural products, foods, and of course it noteworthy natural
 FISHING AT THE RIVER

Fishing At The River When I was in Junior High School, my

father once took me to go fishing with him at the river on Sunday morning. The
river lies across our oil palm plantation. collect We had breakfast first at home
and then left early in the morning by motorcycle. When we arrived in our
plantation, my father parked the motorcycle under the hut. He asked me to some
dry wood and dry grass or leaves. When I already collected enough wood and
dry leaves, my father set a fire in the center of the fireplace. He said that the
smoke from the fire would scare some dangerous animal like bear and boar to
come closer to the hut and so it would make us safer. After cleaning some wild
grass around the hut, my father gave me a hoe and asked me to dig some soil to
find worms. When I already had enough worm, I brought it to my father and we
went straight to the river. We put the worm on the fishing hook as a bait to catch
the fish. As a beginner fisher, I cannot apply the worm on the fishing hook well,
and it looks like it was about to fall off the hook, but my father said that it was
okay. I threw the fishing hook into the river and wait for the fish to eat the bait,
but nothing happened after a while. When I was about to get bored I saw a big
prawn was slowly walking in the water. I placed the fishing hook slowly into
the face of the prawn and move it up and down so the worm seemed alive. I
never expected it to happen but suddenly the prawn move its hand and grabbed
the worm on my fishing hook. I lift it very slowly and the prawn was still there
hanging tight on the worm until I placed it on the ground and I caught it right
away with my hands. My father was so surprise to see it. Before we went home,
we cooked it at the hut and enjoyed it together.
 SQUID AND THE CHICKEN SAUCE PIZZA

INGREDIENT
Dough:
1. 1000 gr flour
2. 500 ml of warm water
3. 3 tsp. Of yeast
4. 2 tsp. Of salt
5. 60 ml olive/vegetable oil
Sauce:
1. 3 pieces of onion, minced
2. 6 cloves garlic, minced
3. Tomatoes, peel the husk, minced
4. 2 tsp. Of bacillus
5. 2 tsp. Of oregano
6. Tomato suce
7. 2 tsp. Of pepper
8. 2 tbsp. Sugar
9. Chili sauce
10. 10 ml of water
Topping:
1. 500 gr squid, wahed and cut into pieces
2. 200 grams chicken fillets, cleaned and cu into pieces
3. 300 grams of mushrooms, thinly sliced
4. 200 grams mozzarella cheese
5. 250 grams of cheddar chese, grate
6. A re bell pepper, thinly sliced
7. A yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

How to make
Make pizza sauce basauteing garlic and onion until fragrant, addtomatoes,
sauce,salt,papper,basil,oregano and water. Then cookuntl boiling. Once cooked, divide
sauce into 2parts. Heat teflon over lowheat, pour the half sauce, then add t

Long time ago in island of java, indonesia. Lived a couple of farmer. They had
married for some years but they had no children. So they prayed to a monster called buta ijo
was a ferocious and forerful monster. He graned their wish on one condition. When their
children had grawn up, they had to secrifice them to buta ijo. He liked eating fresh meat of
human being. The farmers agreed to his condition. Saveral months later the wife was
pregnant. She have birth to a beautyful baby girls. They named timun emas. They farmers
were happy. Timun emas wasvery healthy and a very smart girl. She was also very diligent.
When she was a teenager buta ijo came to their house. Timun emas was frightened so she
ran away to hide. The farmers then told buta ijo that timun emas was still a child. They
asked him to postpone, buta ijo agreed. He promised to come again. The following years
buta ijo came again. Buta again and again their parents said that timun emas was still a
child. When the third time buta ijo came their parents hand prepared something for him.
They gave timun emas saveral bmboo needles, seeds of cucumber, dressing and salt.

“these are your weapons. Buto ijo will chase you. He will eat you alive. So run as fast
as you can. And if he wil catch you spead this to the ground. Now go!”.
Timun emas was scred so she ran as quickly as she could. When buta ijo arrived she
was far from home. He was very angry when he realized that his prey had left. So he ran to
chase her. He had a sharp nose so he knew what direction his prey ran. Timun emas was just
a girl while buta ijo was a monster so he could easily catcth her up. When he was just
several step behinnd timun emas quicky spread the seeds of cocumber. The exhausted buta
ijo was very thirsty so he grabbed and ate them. When buta ijo was busy eatyng cucummber
timun emas could ran away. But soon buta ijo realized and started running again. When he
was just severral steps behind timun emas bamboo trees. Buta ijo found it hard to pass. It
took him some time to break the dense bamboo forest. Meanwhile timun emas coud run
father.
Buta ijo chased her again. When he almost catch her again and again timun emas
therew her dressing. This time it turned into a lake. Buta ijo was busy to save himselft so
timun emas ran away. But buta ijo could overcome it and continued chasng her
Finnally when timun emas was almost caught she threw he salt. Soon the land where
buta ijo stood turned into oncean. Buta ijo was drowned and died instantly. Timun emas
was thankful to got and came back to her home.
