CONVERSATION:

Bony: hello Gimena.


Gimena: hi bony, how are you?
Bony: good and you?
Gimena: very good.
Bony: look there comes Joel.
Joel: hi girls, today what are we going to prepare/cook for lunch?
Gimena: a delicious “lomo saltado”.
Bony: yes, good idea.
Joel: what do we need?
Gimena: we need 600 grams of beef loin.
Bony: we need an onion.
Joel: do we need any tomatoes?
Gimena: we have some tomatoes in the cupboard.

Joel: we do not have any Chinese onion.

Bony: We need some potatoes.


Gimena: I like it with a lot of chips.

Bony: do we have any rice?


Joel: Yes, but; I do not eat much rice.
Joel: Is there any olive oil?
Gimena: Yes there is.

Gimena: let's buy from Avelino market.


Bony: there we will find everything.
Joel: and it's cheaper.

PREPARATION:

Joel: ready! Here we have all the ingredients. Now Bony, how should we
cook/prepare?
Bony: First, we have the potatoes chips ready.
Gimena: ok!
First cut the loin into pieces and season them with ground garlic, cumin,
oregano and vinegar.
Joel: On the other hand, heat the pan with a little oil. Then add the meat and fry
for a moment.
Bony: Second, remove the meat and the same oil add the chopped onion,
tomato and chili.
Gimena: fry everything and add the meat, sillao and vinegar.
Joel: then add the meat, mix everything.
Bony: finally add Chinese onion and a bit of chopped culandro.
Gimena: here in Peru the “lomo saltado” is eaten with rice.
Joel: Yeah, well now we have lunch ready. Let's taste!
Bony: ummmm, it is delicious!!!!
